Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Dundee Township

I order 3 items for delivery from the pizza hut 5 minutes down the road. We had company over and hungry children. The pizza was estimated to be delivered within 60-75 minutes which was fine. After that time was up, I called the pizza hut to check on my order. They said that the driver left 20 minutes ago and should be there soon. We waited another half an hour and called back. The employee said the same thing and hung up on me. I finally had my husband call and inquire about the order after 2.5 hours, and they said the same thing but did say they would give us a refund. We questioned the freshness of the food, and they guaranteed it was still going to be hot and fresh. After 3 hours our food finally arrived after our company left, and it was the most disgusting pizza hut food I have ever had. It was cold, and hard like cardboard. We threw all of it out and had to find something else to eat. This experience was horrible. The customer service was unacceptable. The employees could at least call us with updates on our order to see if we should make other arrangements or we could have picked up fresh pizza. I hope next time...

My boyfriend and I ordered a pepperoni pizza and boneless barbecue wings and started eating about noon. Within an hour of eating, I started feeling lightheaded so I laid down for 20 minutes. I stood up after the 20 min and vertigo hit me like crazy. I have never had vertigo in my life. My boyfriend went and got me a bowl for me to puke in. I laid on the floor throwing up for like 30-45 minutes. He finally was able to half carry me to the bathroom. I was sweating and still dizzy so I laid down in the tub and turned on the shower on the coldest setting. I was puking until about 4:30PM when I was finally able to go lay down in bed. Completely misleading new ad about $10 large pizza delivered. First, Pan is an extra $2, second delivery fee is NOT included in the $10. $4.49 additional delivery fee, which is crazy high. I know it is probably not this location's fault, but no way I'm paying $18 for ONE large 3-topping pizza to be delivered (and that doesn't include tip to the driver). Go with the nearby Sleepy Hollow Rosati's and get the buy one 18" get a free 12" cheese deal. It'll be over $20 but way better pizza, and a lot of it. Pizza hut going bye bye soon (at least in Chicagoland). As a new add-on, tried the Big New Yorker because I enjoyed it in the 90s. It too was disappointing, while OK for taste, nowhere near the amount of pepperoni...
