My wife and I heard great reviews for this place from friends. We tried some takeout and when we got home were pretty disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken balls were overly breaded and tasteless. The eggrolls were not very good either. I've had this style before, which seem to have little meat and mostly bean sprouts (no, these weren't springrolls) and I'm just not a fan. We were very unhappy with our meal and were discouraged because we were really looking for a good local Chinese restaurant. We decided that based on the good reviews, we would try again. This time we had a sit down meal at the restaurant and ordered one of our favorites 'Happy Family' and the' Hunan Spicey Shrimp'. Our visit was not in vain, as this time the food was great! The Hunan shrimp was spicy and succulent, full of large tasty shrimp and scallops. The 'Happy Family' was loaded with tasty chunks of beef and chicken and shrimp. Hooray! We now have a favorite Chinese restaurant in the Milan/Dundee area! We went back last night and had another great meal, so call us...
Read moreFood wasnt very good at all and it was expensive. Literally none of it was very good. Orange chicken was very sweet with no other flavor, thickly breaded and glazed but hardly any actual meat. Szechuan chicken was not spicy at all, I asked for spicy sauce and they never gave any like they promised. Seats were uncomfortable too. And I think the other 5 star reviews that were all made at about the same time are fake. The waiter was nice but he had a hard time understanding me and I think sometimes he thought I was being rude when I was trying to be nice - probably a result of the typical customers he deals with in this area. I’m not worried about that tho, the food was genuinely extremely disappointing.
it’s funny that since I wrote this back in late August, there are reviews on here buy bought accounts that mention how spicy the food was in response to...
Read moreIve been to this place one other time and ate in and it was great So I decided to place a take out order this time I ordered the combination almond chicken and chicken with veggies, fried rice and an egg roll Normally I never complain about the food at restaurants because I rarely eat out but this time I was not very happy I was charged like $4.00 more than the price reflected on their website menu The menu stated $10.55 and it cost almost $15.00 When I got home the almond chicken was tough and not the usual gravy...Instead it was some type of beef gravy The fried rice consisted of white rice that looked like it was covered in beef broth with very few pieces of egg and no carrots or peas in it They definitely need to update the true prices on their website I definitely was disappointed...
