This is a mostly empty mall with an Old Navy, TJMaxx and Ross still kicking it along with two shoe stores. Everything else is a closed and liminal empty void. Some of the stores are locked with the fixtures still there adding to the abandoned feeling. I personally love the space and am proposing to use it as a music venue as it has more parking than all of downtown Durango. I’m talking tons of parking. I give it a pre-emptive good review because I really want to set some decks up in there for music fun and it is fun to walk and take pictures. When I do throw a rave, you will know it came from a place of true love and appreciation for your unused venue. I also use the empty seating vignettes for dancing. The empty store fronts double as mirrors.

I almost gave this place three stars instead of four. There are several empty storefronts in it and there are not many kiosks. You also typically don't see a huge crowd outside of peak shopping times. The location is out of the way for the more touristy and well-visited parts of Durango. They also get a lot of competition from The Big Box discount stores that are also on the south end of town. However, the mall does feel one key role in Durango: it's probably the best place to do budget shopping instead of paying the tourist prices down on Main Street. For that reason alone it deserves a 4-star rating.

This is clearly what MANY people would call a DEAD mall. Just admit all the stores have closed down. Sears has been out of business for almost a darn decade if not a decade. Bed Bath & Beyond is out of business as well. Their Kays Jewelry store, Bath & Body Works, JcPenny, Nestle Cookies, Famous Footwear & many more has closed down. The only thing that’s probably keeping these doors open is the darn Ross, TJMAXX, Old Navy, Random Nail shop, Shoe Depot, Maurice, Zumiez, and Claire’s. Heck even the darn Cole Machine is broken! Don’t waste your time coming here.

I mean, you can always tell how good a mall is by the stores in said mall. This one doesnt offer a lot. TJ Maxx, Ross, Clare's, Zumiez, Bath & Body Works, Pier 1, and a Famous Footwear. That's it. No food court (no food to speak of at all actually), never any events, hard to get too as both entrances are not very friendly to traffic, and the biggest spaces in the mall remain empty. It's a shame too as the people who run the business in the mall try there very best. But the owners of this place clearly are selfish and use this as a tax write off or something as they seldom are involved in the community or invite the community to come shop. Honestly, this place could be so much more. But until they get some better stores inside, offer some food options, hold events, and invite the community, I'm afraid this will be one of those places in the Durango community that is best to skip in favor of other retail...

Closes real early enjoyed my time the lady manager at Famous Footwear was RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE ! Good thing it was the last stop while I was there cuz she put a damper on my mood how RUDE she was cuz I wanted to exchange my shoes, she said I couldn't wear my shoes and then want to exchange them, well I'm sure anyone knows that and I had never wore them, they were in the same condition they sold them to me, so i requested just to get my money back and I will take my business to the store across from them and she only turned 60 dollars back to me when with the reciept as proof I paid 130 dollars for them. That whole ordeal was not nice do I left the mall frustrated feeling judged and accused. The mall is a fun place and every other setting I was able to enjoy...
