We stayed 5 nights. The bathrooms were locked most of the time. The showers were locked all the time. Unfortunately is "against the rules" to park your horse trailer (and stay in it) next to where your horse is penned. $25 a night to plug in trailer and they want you to stay about 2 football fields away from your horse. The place was empty and there were many plugins near and in the horse barn. In the old days folks would work on projects in the winter to take to county fairs. People noticed fine workmanship or talent. I like to think the next generation could learn a lot by checking out the 4H pigs, lambs and ducks. They are raised for show. Most of all the food vendors have went bonkers. Anything can be deep fried. Yes. I tried food I never knew existed. In staying with the yester year theme I believe the vendors must have been given a pass. So support fairs far and wide because it's a rare experience these days-just...
