This is a nice little place that we have visited before a few years back on our previous vacation to the traverse City area. I was a little bummed that they took out the rope course but that's about the extent of it. We ended up playing Putt-Putt - which they have a beautiful and well-maintained course by the way. There are other things to do like bumper boats and I believe they have a game room. The staff was extremely friendly. The best part is we were expecting to pay about $30 for the putt putt course but it was Father's Day so the price came up $21 I was a bit confused - however the smiling staff members at the desk told me Happy Father's Day and I got to play for free. Very impressive customer service in just a fun all around place to relax 12 and unwind with the family. We shall see be back in the next couple years

My family all decided to head to Pirates Cove to entertain them. We had 9 of us. 3 kids in the group who were spending time with their grandparents. We golfed as a big group, trying to rush along so we weren’t holding anyone up. At the end of the 17th hole a manager named Andrew (pictured)came up to my 70 plus year old mother and began to scold her and degrade her claiming he ordered her to split the family up to golf. He then also claimed he told all of us to split up at the beginning but that was a lie. No one ever spoke with him and we would have easily complied with such an easy request. The way he spoke to my mother like the way he was did get a reaction out of me to verbally protect her. His behavior was shocking especially at a mini golf place and we told him he was completely treating us horribly. He then kicked us of the course, snatching the golf clubs out of my 9, 13, and 16 year old kids very aggressively. Seemed like pretty aggressive and assaultive behavior towards children. We are in great hopes that Andrew knows he kicked out two military veterans (Vietnam War and Noble Eagle) off the course for a very minor miscommunication from when my 70 year old mom and dad got the clubs and made payment. We are in hopes the owner will make this right with my mother and father who were just trying to spend time with their family.

This place is awesome. Putt-putt, go-karts and water boats. We only had time for the go-karts as the weather did not play well for our visit. Tickets are purchased ahead of time in separate line so the actual lines go much faster when you're ready to play. Very nice grounds and bathrooms (even a family bathroom if you need little ones). Staff is friendly but will check every child for height requirements - no exceptions. As far as the go-karts, there are 2 different types, single and double seaters. Number of track laps were generous and we really enjoyed the learning the course. Plenty turns, hills and straightaways to make your move to pass in the shape of a figure-8. Definitely want to come back next time we visit to try the putt-putt.

We love to Putt Putt, so while visiting we made our way over on a Saturday morning shortly after opening. The courses were pretty crowded. We did all 18 holes and actually enjoyed the easier course more. They only downfall would be the number of large groups that took entirely too long on each hole holding up 10-15 small groups behind them. At one point there were 22 people waiting on one hole, which eventually puts the entire course behind. We stayed patient and at one point we just skipped a home a went around one group. We would definitely come again. This course is very nostalgic for my husband as he grew up here. Definitely a cool course and a great time overall.

This place was so fun! The golf course was very nice and had a subtle pirate theme and it was beautiful and scenic too! Bumber boats are great fun for family and ziplining was super awesome as well! High ropes course was slightly challenging which makes it even more epic! If you live near this place or are visiting traverse city, i recommend this place for an awesome adventure of family fun! Also the prices are cheap which is wonderful!

Amazing place to spend time with friends and family. The landscape design is beautiful. The only disadvantage of the place is crowd. They let to many people (big groups) at the same time and most of the time you spend standing and waiting instead of playing. At the time we were there, there was only one short course was working, the long one was under renovations. Personnel was welcoming and friendly.
