I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. This was the WORST experience I have had at any amusement place in my life! It was overcrowded and understaffed, and yet they kept letting people in-it was unbelievable. I am not even sure the woman who took my ticket knew how many people were even in the place-it was definitely not like other parks when they have a counter as you go in. The power was partially out, and the AC was not working-and of course we did not know this before we waited 45 minutes in line to get in.
The gift store's line wrapped around the entire place at least 100 people deep, again totally understaffed. This is a summer weekend, and they should be more aware and prepared to accommodate! Each floor had way too many people so we could not do any of the attractions, and there was minimal staff-no one to give the kids paper to color, no one to redeem tickets for prizes, it was insane!
With power outages no one was advising people to not use the elevators, so there was overcrowding in the elevator line as well as people forced to carry strollers down the stairs, it was extremely unsafe and there was no staff around at all to handle the situation. There is no way that was not a fire hazard, all exits were blocked! The best part was I waited 30 minutes to speak with the manager to get a refund and they never came out, after the cashier asked them three times! I will NEVER go back there, and I suggest you visit with extremely low...
Read moreThe Crayola Experience is fun for all ages. I'll review that later. You are led to exit through the store to leave. The store is interesting with novel items plus the items seen in regular stores. My adult daughter has a disability and loves Crayola markers. We went to the experience just so she can pick out the color markers she likes and not waste the markers she doesn't. (She buys hundreds of markers every month.) I was disappointed about the color options the store had for markers in the "build your own" activity in the store. Don't get me wrong, there were many color versions but not nearly as diverse colors as they had for crayons. This is linked to my major concern... Crayola has markers that are different shades of brown. Yet, they do not have those different shades in the other activities in the building (such as coloring the free item that is given to each paid ticket) and myltiple different shades are not in the...
Read moreTook my family here twice since I moved out here six months ago. The place is right in the middle of the downtown area. Very convenient and easy to get to. First time there I immediately got annual passes. Price ranges are good too. They have events year round which is a plus. I have always gotten pleasent vibes from the staff. The gift shop will make you broke. I wanted every single crayon and marker color they have ever produced twice. So many souvenirs to break a budget on. My son enjoyed it. Loves the activities there. Not a great place to eat compared to other attractions. Definitely worth coming back...
