I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the experience my colleagues and I had at Stokes Pizza and Grill on 3/30/2024. Our visit was intended to celebrate a co-worker's promotion, but unfortunately, it was marred by several unacceptable incidents. Firstly, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find out that the waitress attempted to overcharge one of our group members for drinks. Despite only consuming four beverages, she was incorrectly billed for seven. This blatant attempt to overcharge us was both unprofessional and unacceptable.Throughout the evening, we also noticed a severe lack of attentiveness from the staff. Our used dishes and cups were left uncleared for the entirety of our visit, despite our attempts to flag down servers. This neglect of basic service standards was disappointing and contributed to a subpar dining experience.

Furthermore, the quality of the food we received was below expectations. The chicken dishes were overcooked and excessively salty, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. When we attempted to address these issues with the manager, we were met with dismissiveness and disrespect. Despite our group of eight people trying to explain the situation, the manager rudely brushed off our concerns, stating that he did not have time to hear complaints. Such unprofessional behavior from a manager is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. In the end, I felt compelled to pay for the incorrectly billed drinks simply to avoid further confrontation, even though it was unjust. This coercive tactic is wholly inappropriate and only served to exacerbate our dissatisfaction. Additionally, I personally found the quality of the drinks to be severely lacking. The mojitos I ordered tasted like plain Sprite, and I refrained from ordering further drinks due to their poor quality. Overall, our experience at Stokes Pizza and Grill was deeply disappointing, and we have decided that it is no longer worth...

Very bad experience so me and my family decided to pay this place a visit after the crayola factory there was a party of 8 of us 4 adults and 4 kids the time was exactly 5:30 pm so we walked in and requested a table the host said give me 1 minute we waited another host came and just said they could not seat us because we had kids and it was unsafe however the restaurant was filled other kids so at this point that bothered me that me and my family was rejected service like that so I asked to speak to manager so the poor excuse of a manger named Carlos came out and ask what was the problem so I told him we were denied service with no real explanation and you just can’t turn down customers like that so it blew my mind that his response was it’s not because we are racist 1st of all not one person ever brought race up to him or staff so by him just saying that tells me what the real reason was so I told him no one ever blamed no one of being racist however why would he even say that then his second excuse was there is. 2 hour wait there were plenty empty tables so I told him so what if I want to wait he then said we are about to close mind you like I said it was only 530 the play still had hours before close time I know where I am not wanted but it’s very sad that we still live in a world we’re a family goes out to try have dinner and gets rejected for being racilly profiled and not served what hurts is that my kids had to experience something like that so young and like I said no one ever brought up race at all but the manager Carlos the owners of this establishment should really reevaluate who they hire as a manager to represent them as a company very bad for business a disgrace of a human being I’m still shocked at...

My wife and I stumbled in here a few months back while bar hopping with friends. Decided to come back this past weekend for a date night. We made reservations based on our last visit. We arrive about ten minutes early and got a drink at the bar. We decided to stay at the bar and updated the host. Bartender was nice be was maybe new? I usually just get whiskey and ginger, but thought I’d get something off their menu. Mostly vodka and tequila drinks. My wife ordered wine. When he asked me, I just picked the first whiskey drink I could think of; an Old Fashioned. The look I got was of either sheer shock and disbelief or utter disgust. He told my wife he’d be right back with her drink and looked at me and said something along the lines of, “Yeah. You’re gonna have to give me some time on that, bud.” There were at least two bartenders and another person helping out and it didn’t appear to be busy. I didn’t realize that drink was so difficult to concoct. The food order went in when I got my drink and appetizers came out very fast and hot! We got the smoke sticks and meatballs. For dinner my wife got one of the pizzas and I got the chicken parm meal. Everything was delicious. Both bartenders checked in pretty regularly. I saw our bartender make a few mistakes which lead me to believe he was new. I figured this explained his initial response to my drink order. Overall it was a great night. The pricing was fair and the portions we fairly large for what you pay. The atmosphere is really neat. Kind of upscale, but feels casual. Everything looked clean and well kept. Stoke leans more lively bar scene than cozy coal-fired pizzeria—but if you’re in the mood for bold, flavorful pizza and a solid drink menu, it’s a fun spot to check out. The pizzas are definitely the highlight: crispy, coal-fired crust with creative toppings and a good mix of red and white options. They’re cleverly named and well-executed—flavorful without feeling overcomplicated. The Caesar and Italian chopped salads were fresh and generously sized, though both came a bit overdressed. Still enjoyable, but worth asking for dressing on the side if you’re picky about that. Drinks are hit or miss. The Peach Old Fashioned was a standout—smooth, balanced, and well-loved at our table. The espresso martini tasted great, though it didn’t look as polished as the pictures online. The Hugo Spritz, on the other hand, was underwhelming—mostly due to a strange aftertaste from the Prosecco they use. If you’re a fan of spritz-style cocktails, you might want to ask about the ingredients first. Prices are a touch high for the vibe and portions, but not outrageous—especially considering the prime downtown Easton location. Just be aware that parking is all street-based and can be a challenge depending on the time of day. Overall: Stoke offers unique, flavorful pizza and solid cocktails in a casual, bar-forward setting. If you’re looking for a quieter or more elevated dining experience, Bar Torino around the corner might be a better fit. But for a lively night out with friends, Stoke delivers.

WOW. FLAVOR FLAVOR FLAVOR. Can wings really be this great? Yes they can. Perfectly fried, doused in plenty of sauce. Really great. I would go back just for the wings. Ordered the polenta sticks, plenty for 2. The garlic aoli served with it was the whole story. Should serve with more. I would slather it on everything. The sticks were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizzas were just like the photos we saw before we went. Charred and evenly topped. Top notch ingredients for the toppings, the mushrooms were trumpet mushrooms. The drinks could be a bit stronger, but the drink menu is filled with options. The main complaint is slow service, but it was a Friday, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, with great descriptions of textures and flavors and she was very pleasant. UPDATE...went back just for the wings, but ended up getting the sticks again and the gnocchi. Polenta sticks were consistent and the gnocchi were sauted with a bit of caramelization on each side and a soft pillowy center. The asparagus in the sauce were crispy and fresh. Will go back!
