The behavior of older cashier Adriana Ramos at counter #7 at the Edgewater NJ store on the evening of 8/22/22 at approximately 6:45pm was unacceptable and unprofessional. It was certainly not reflective of the customer service my spouse and I are accustomed to receiving at this store.
Older cashier Adriana Ramos was very dismissive and rude, as she stated with attitude that my spouse did not have to explain anything else, and walked away while my spouse was still speaking to her, trying to explain and provide store purchase tickets that would give more background to the price adjustment we were looking to resolve.
Cashier Adriana Ramos returned back to counter #7 with another worker and explained that we were trying to get a discounted rate on the purchase of an item on a different date. Had cashier Adriana Ramos paid attention and looked at the proof of purchase tickets, she would have seen that was not the case. Cashier Adriana Ramos made it sound as if we were trying to get over on pricing to the other worker.
When we called her out on her behavior, older cashier Adriana Ramos barked back at us. This is unacceptable and should be addressed accordingly with this employee. I sincerely hope that this communication gets the attention it deserves, and this employee be given another area to cover, as her behavior this evening at this store is not reflective of the store's...
Read moreThe store is well stocked for sure and is always full of people. I’m sure keeping the merchandise out is certainly a hardship; so kudos to them for that. HOWEVER, the all female management team is absolutely abhorrent. I have never encountered such flagrant rudeness from those whom are considered to be sales “professionals!” You are treated as if THEY are doing YOU a favor. Exceedingly dissatisfied and entirely disappointing. Although I am confidant there are people there who do good work and respect others; yet the management staff here is seemingly incapable of such meager social graces. Here I have recieved nothing but substandard, amateurish behavior with alarmingly miserable attitudes, unpleasant demeanor and a wholly unwelcoming feeling overall. I will never return to this TJ Max location. Unless they intend on hiring someone more capable and professional to manage the store. For all the years I have shopped here, the same manager is still there and continues to dissatisfy customers with her eminently unprofessional attitude. Read moreYadira is horrible with customer service. I called the store and asked if they had a specific brand and she informed me I had to come check. Anytime in the past employees were able to indicate to me if they had an item or not. I then informed her I have called in the past to find out if the brand was currently in store and that employees were able to assist me in letting me know if they had said inventory. After I informed Yadira of this she said to me “oh we have some”. I asked to speak with someone else because it was evident she didn’t care to help me at all, her customer service skills are a ZERO. TJ Maxxx do better at hiring employees because she basically strayed me away from coming into the store. I asked to speak with a manager this way they could help me.
