tacoria - Mexican Street Kitchen — Restaurant in Edgewater

My boyfriend and I came to Tacoria shortly just after lunch time, and it was still busy. I read the reviews ahead that it gets busy during lunch time, so we thought we'd be in the clear after. This is not the case. This was my first ever Tacoria experience, but through my time here, I learned there is a Tacoria in South Jersey in Cherry Hill off of Route 73.

PARKING There's plenty of parking to go around. This is in the same lot as Target, Michael's, Cava, etc.

MENU & CHOICES My boyfriend had ordered the Burrito Box with Brussel Sprouts as his protein, and I had a Mission Style Burrito with Pollo Tinga as my protein. We also ordered some small bites: the chips & pico, as well as the, chips & guac.

Our drink choices were Agua Fresca, which I HIGHLY recommend on getting! My boyfriend had the Limonada option, and I greatly enjoyed the Guava + Basil!

My boyfriend had decided to order the Nutella Nachos to go, as well as, some more agua fresca in the choice Horchata for me. It was to die for! I dream about those nachos!

PORTION SIZES I took a look at the reviews ahead of time, on various sites, and saw a lot of people complaining about portion sizes. These portions are adequately made for a human adult.

The burrito was too much for me (5 foot 4.5 inches & 125 pound female) and yet I finished it all in one sitting. For the rest of the night, I felt like my ribs were going to break because I was so stuffed! I'm really not sure who is complaining about portion sizing, but coming from an authentic European household, this is way more than enough for one meal!

My man had the burrito box, and the Brussel sprouts option was to die for! He added Valentina sauce, to the top, which brought everything together for a divine kick. He said, in the past, he would get the burrito box & a burrito, but then would feel awful because it's two portions too many. It's what caused him to become unhealthy and gain weight, despite being healthy food, and therefore, I will reiterate the portion of one meal is adequately and healthily sized for a human adult standard. If you feel like you're still hungry after this meal or any meal, it means you must chew your food more and eat slower. Google it.

SEATING There aren't a lot of tables like many have mentioned. Too many people will take up an entire table to themselves. Two people per table, then they proceed to stare you down and give you a dirty look if you so much as try to join them.

Please be gracious and humble, you never know who you might meet! Make room for anyone just coming in to sit at your table.

Lunch time, and far after lunch time, it was pretty busy. It finally got empty around 3:22pm, but shortly after leaving, a line started to form again.

My man and I were able to get a table in the far back. We scooched all the way into the inside to let anyone else who came in and needed a seat to sit with us. In the end, one of the chefs, Domingo, sat with us and we chatted for a bit. Having that personal experience and getting to know Tacoria from a more personal standpoint made the experience even more elite!

My boyfriend and I learned everything in Tacoria is fresh. They get deliveries every single day. All the meats show up and get cooked day of. Domingo mentioned there's only two places he would eat at 1) Tacoria & 2) at home with his own cooking.

OVERALL My first Tacoria experience far exceeded my expectations, and I really enjoyed chatting with Domingo! I loved seeing all the languages on the walls, and was so happy to find Polish. "Zycie jest pienkne!" - Life is beautiful! Absolutely! I will definitely be a return customer,...

Went there on fri Nov 8 . Decor, no complaints. Nice , bright, clean . 8/10 all good . by the time I arrived, it looked like they were doing photos for social media, so it was around 10 workers at the venue . After the cashier placed an order for 30$+ for 1 guest ! . I also left 15% tip . And sat at the table . Literally 3ft away from all staff members They gave me the buzzer . When the buzzer rang .non of them even tried to bring food, which was apparently at the other window( nobody explained this to me ) Listen not like am an asshole but why the heck u have a tip option in your system if 10 employees who were just joking around can't walk 6ft to grab your food and put on the table . McDonald's next door brings your food to you . Costumer service 2/10 at least the took an order . Dear owner, having 10 people on payroll will get u to bankruptcy. Now to the most important part food !: The presentation is nice for a local spot Food looks fresh . But then we go to the taste . Tacos were cold ,lol like seriously you can't heat the god damn tortilla?! Overall taste average 6/10 not enough flavor. Not well seasoned. Blend whatever. Corn also average....6/10

Wish u luck , fix problems But to be at the local neighborhood and do meh job .won't work Cava next door is much better ! And at the end, taste wins I could ve close eyes on everything if tacos are amazing 👏 but...

I was so thrilled to see that Tacoria was coming to a location quite near my home. The Edgewater location is seriously EXCELLENT!!! I have been there at least once a week since they opened and on some occasions as many as 4 to 5 times a week.

The food is delectable and fresh. I am vegan and have plenty of options. Make sure that if you are vegan, you ask for the vegan corn option. It is so good I often go in because of it specifically.

The Agua Frescas are great. The flavors are good and not overly sugary at all.

What can I say about the service except SUPERB! The staff is always so warm, friendly and everyone goes out of their way to make one feel welcomed. Checking in while I eat to make sure everything is to my liking! Always a smile upon arrival and when leaving. They keep the place spotless.

The vibe is great with good music that is never too loud or overpowering. The decor is very attractive. Even though I live three minutes away, I always eat in because I enjoy the experience so much!

I highly recommend Tacoria for eat-in or take-out....
