I've lived in the metro entire life and I'd never even heard of this place. A friend invited me and I'm glad I took her up on the invitation. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Although it was fairly crowed it wasn't long before we found enough lounge chairs for myself and the four other ladies I was with to be seated next to each other. So plenty of room with seating available in shaded areas as well. They clearly had adults in mind when they designed the attractions since we made plenty of use of the zip line, the water slides and the high dive despite all of us being over 30. We had a blast. The locker rooms, the food and beverage area and the pool itself were all very clean and inviting. There is a kiddy pool and outdoor play ground that had a cool forest design and sat hidden back in a wooded area that looked great for the little ones too. Can't wait to go back w my 5 year old niece. For 11$ bucks this is a affordable fun afternoon for anyone looking to get outside. I'd highly recommend a visit. BONUS: its located in the center of a giant park next to a lake with band shells and picnic tables so if you wanted to bring small group of people for a Saturday outing you could easily accommodate a lunch and evening meal by packing a cooler and serving it up right outside the pool in...
Read moreLove this pool! It’s a great day every time we go. If you plan to use the lockers, bring your own lock! Also, they’re kind of small, so you might want to bring two if you have a lot of stuff.
I prefer to keep coming back here over other pools and water parks primarily because of the very diligent lifeguards. They are all clearly so locked in on their jobs. There are many of them stationed around the pool and other attractions, and their eyes never stop scanning and checking in on everyone. They even rotate stations regularly so no one gets bored or starts slacking on their assigned zone. I can be fully confident that even if I don’t currently have eyes on the kids, they do.
My very small complaints are that the floors in the locker rooms are SO slippery. They really need to add some texture to them because when your feet are wet it feels like you’re walking on slick ice. The lines at concessions are also insane. They have multiple windows, but typically only one open so you wait in line for 30 minutes… the food is pretty good for a public pool, but not worth it to have to wait that long. Bring your own food or plan a shorter trip that won’t overlap with...
Read moreWas looking for a fun “hot day” activity. I’d been here before when my kids were little, but now it’s even more fun for them.
There is a body board / wave experience ($7 extra) - really appreciate that they limit the time for riders so you don’t end up with some dude pulling tricks for 40 minutes.
Entry fee is reasonable ($11/person) and includes a tube slide and body slide, zip line drop into the pool, 2 diving boards, pool space for playing (no floaties!) and a cool splash and slide area with zero entry for smaller kids.
Concessions can only be consumed in the concession area, but there’s a fair amount of shaded seating and lines are never too long (except when it’s the 15 min pool break).
For context, we were her on an 85 degree day in mid- August. There are probably 200+ lounge chairs. Most sit “reserved” most of the time, but there’s opportunity to find a chair or two if you keep your eyes open. Kind of wish they’d adopt the 30 min hold rule of some resorts (if you leave your stuff for 30 min, someone can remove them from the chair and take that seat). Also could minimize concession congestion by adding a soda machine.
We will...
