I have to thank LGA for providing such a wonderful daycare experience for my first child — and soon, for my second as well.
My son has attended LGA from 18 months to 3 years old, and in that time his growth has been incredible. He went from speaking only a few words to now speaking in full sentences and asking better questions than some adults I know! His development in language, problem solving, social skills, fine and gross motor skills has advanced to a Kindergarten level.
The love and care he receives daily is unmatched — from the director down to the teacher assistants. Even staff members who are not in his classroom know his name and greet him warmly. I also love the comfort of being able to check in at any time through their monitoring system.
The classrooms are spacious, with bathrooms in each room to support parents with potty training. The outdoor play areas are thoughtfully separated by age group, and safety is always a clear priority. Their hours fit perfectly with my 9–5:30 schedule, and their tuition is more affordable than other centers in the area.
The provided meals and snacks are healthy and delicious (according to my son!), which saves me the daily task of packing food. I also appreciate that there is no screen time — instead, the children are engaged in active play and learning. At pickup, the facility is always spotless and my son is happily worn out, which makes evenings at home much smoother.
Communication is excellent. For example, during inclement weather, directors update families promptly through the school’s app. The center rarely closes — which is so helpful since my job doesn’t either. On the rare occasion there’s an incident (like when my son bumped heads with another child), I was notified right away and given an incident report, which gave me peace of mind.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve built great relationships with other parents and we often share tips and support one another.
But the best part? Hearing my son say consistently, “Mommy, I love school.” That alone tells me everything I need to know. I feel truly blessed and grateful for the care my children...
Read moreWe started bringing our first daughter to Little Genius Academy back in 2011 when she was about 1 1/2 and she stayed all the way through kindergarten. Our 2nd daughter started shortly after she was born in 2014 and is still there in a pre-K class. Our experience here has been amazing. Our older daughter never complained about going to school, she made lots friends, some of whom she continues to see outside of LGA and finished kindergarten knowing how to read and fully prepared for 1st grade in public school. Our younger daughter looks forward to going school every day and is having similar experience that her sister had. Through the years that we have been coming to LGA, we have gotten to know the owner/director, Miss Angela, and several of the teachers and administrative staff. It is clearly no accident that LGA is as successful as it is. Miss Angela is always there and takes a very hands on approach with every aspect of the school. Any time we have had a problem or concern, Miss Angela was extremely attentive and responsive in addressing our needs. All of the teachers that both of our girls have had took a genuine interest in their well being. They greet the children with a welcoming smile in the morning and they stay on top of their game in meeting the children’s needs throughout the day. The administrative staff is courteous and professional and come across as warm and caring to the children - and they seem to know every child’s...
Read moreI am so happy with the care and education my daughter receives at Little Genius of Edison. The staff is warm, nurturing, and dedicated to providing a safe and fun learning environment for my daughter. She’s not even two yet and knows her colors and shapes/ months and days. She also comes home singing lullaby’s it warms my heart. I have seen her confidence and independence grow tremendously.
The facility is clean, well-organized, and filled with age-appropriate activities that my daughter loves. I pay extra for the live feed which gives me a little peace of mind as I’m a first time mom and I enjoy watching her play with her friends in the classroom. The daily reports of her activities and the adorable pictures posted in the portal are also a great bonus.
What impresses me most is the way the staff genuinely cares for each child's unique needs and personality. My daughter has formed strong bonds with her teachers Ms. Kriesha and Ms. Danielle, Ms. Allison the assistant director and also with Ms. Ama and Ms. Clara. The Director Ms. Carrie is amazing, and made the registration process a breeze. She is knowledgeable, attentive and took the time to answer all of my questions.
I highly recommend Little Genius Edison to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child. I am extremely grateful to have...
