I am writing this review nearly a month and a half after my experience with Baked Bouquet. The mostly negative experience stuck with me, but I hope this feedback helps improve the service and business as a whole.

Lovely concept, delivery of concept not as great.
On the day of my aunt's birthday (this past March), I was looking for a bakery and was DELIGHTED to discover Baked Bouquet. I couldn't wait to place an order; I hoped the bouquet would let her know how much we appreciate and love her especially. My goal was to make her smile ear to ear all day (especially after the particularly rough year she's had). I would be driving from over an hour away to pick up my order, so I called to make sure that it would be ready by then. They said it would be no problem--great! I place my order for one hour later.
A few minutes after ordering, I got a call from an employee whose name starts with R (I know her full name but feel no need to share it). She said that I placed the order to be finished 5 minutes after I placed it. I assured her I didn't set the pickup time for 5 minutes (because (1) I'm not an idiot and (2) I didn't even have the option for 5 minutes after) but nearly an hour later. I explained that it might have been an error in the system, but she persisted. She seemed to have an attitude toward me for something as simple as a system error. I was definitely annoyed by the time I got off the phone with her but decided to not let it ruin the day or my expierence with baked bouquet.
I arrived to pick up the order an hour later and I can only assume that it was R who asked me for my name, handed me the box, and walked away. Customer service and attitude was terrible. I know not if R is owner or employee, but she is a terrible representation of such a beautiful concept and company. My simple advice is to fix that. Attitude is everything. If you aren't happy where you are doing what you do, then go somewhere and do something that makes you happy. Whatever you do, don't get careless or wreckless with customers.
I got the triple gold bouquet. It was done sloppily but it tasted alright. (Another piece of advice: if you can't prepare something properly in an hour, then maybe don't offer it as an option). For over 100$, not sure if I would do it again. However, if these issues are addressed, I would certainly be willing to try Baked Bouquet again at some point...
Read moreI had previously ordered from Baked Bouquet a few years ago and had a very pleasant experience with a beautiful arrangement for a birthday. This is why my sister and I decided to order again for a Mother’s Day arrangement. To our huge surprise this is what our mother opened up this past Sunday 05/09/2021. Truly disappointing and looking NOTHING like the picture we paid $94 for. All we are offered are a credit or a new delivery. We have asked for a refund. Our mother didn’t eat the cupcakes as she thought they were tampered with which I don’t blame her. She also does not want another arrangement. A credit or sending out a new arrangement will not work for us and for this mess of a delivered arrangement a refund should well be given. My sister and I have reached out further via multiple emails with pictures attached with our cell phone numbers provided and no one has reached out again since Sunday. We’ve called the Edison and Verona stores spoken to customer service representatives saying someone should reach back and again, no one has. This time around this has been a really bad experience. All I’m asking is to be fair, look at these pictures, and tell me a refund is not just. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB being that no one is making any attempt to contact my sister or I via our email addresses or cell phone numbers we’ve provided in our emails.
Update My sister called Baked Bouquet yet AGAIN this past Friday, May 21, 2021 to ask AGAIN why no one had reached out still and what was happening. The person on the phone was helpful this time around and said we will finally be getting our refund. I checked my bank account today Monday May 24 and indeed the refund went through. We’re glad we finally got our refund but we definitely will not be using Baked Bouquet again in the future. The customer service experience was terrible. No one ever called us back or ever reached out back via email. No apology either from their end on the way the arrangement ended up looking from...
Read moreTOTALLY FAULSE ADVERTISING!!!!
All of the cupcakes might be worth the price .....I just have a serious problem with their web design.
They show a beautiful cupcake arrangement starting at $42 so you would assume that the picture shown with that price would be in fact that arrangement.
But no.....when you click on it that arrangement is actually $115 & the $42 one’s are the little measly ones in a box. They do this with every single pictured vase bouquet continuing to their false advertisement.
When I called a spoke with them they admittedly said “well, that’s just the way the web designer set it up” & yes when u click on it there it shows you what costs $49 (a straight dozen in a box)
If I wanted a boxed dozen cupcakes I could go to Hoboken to Carlo’s Bakery & get delish nicer in design cupcakes on a box not to mention for less!!!
My problem with this is why don’t they just put the real price under the real items pictures on the opening page...but I already know the answer to that because the pictured bouquets on the opening page are all their Deluxe starting at $79-$115 which would scare a major of the population away but at least then this way you know what you’re getting.
This FAULSE ADVERTISING continued thru every single one that I picked whether it starts at $59 or $69 or $49 they’re just a little 6 piece cupcake collection or the plain boxed cupcakes which brings me right back to the beginning they have totally set up the customers for their false advertisement & I suggest not using this company!!
Totally...
