We are fan of Shake Shack, Shroom Burger and Chicken sandwich but since pandemic the quality and quantity was not great as before
Shake Shack’s ’Shroom Burger and Chicken Shack sandwich cater to different cravings, but both offer high-quality ingredients and bold flavors. Here’s a review of each:
’Shroom Burger
This is Shake Shack’s vegetarian option, but even meat lovers might enjoy it. Instead of a plant-based patty, it features a crispy-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted Muenster and cheddar cheese. The mushroom has a crunchy, golden crust, and when you bite into it, the molten cheese oozes out. It’s topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a soft potato bun.
Pros: • Incredibly crispy and satisfying texture • Rich, gooey cheese filling • Great umami flavor
Cons: • Can be greasy due to the fried mushroom • The cheese filling can get too hot and messy
Chicken Shack
Shake Shack’s take on the fried chicken sandwich is a crispy, buttermilk-marinated chicken breast topped with lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo, all inside their signature potato bun. The chicken is juicy inside with a crunchy, well-seasoned coating. The mayo adds a creamy, tangy balance to the crispiness.
Pros: • Crispy yet tender chicken • Buttermilk herb mayo enhances flavor • High-quality ingredients
Cons: • Slightly small portion for the price • Could use more seasoning or spice for extra punch
Verdict
If you love cheese and mushrooms, the ’Shroom Burger is a must-try, but it’s quite rich. If you’re craving a crispy chicken sandwich with fresh flavors, the Chicken Shack delivers—though it’s not the most standout option in the crowded fried chicken sandwich space.

Read moreIf you’re looking for a burger that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more, Shake Shack is the place to be! From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of freshly grilled burgers and melting cheese was irresistible.
The menu selection is fantastic, with options for everyone, including classic burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and even a selection of mouth-watering vegetarian options. The ShackBurger I ordered was cooked to perfection, with a juicy patty, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and their iconic ShackSauce that adds an explosion of flavor.
Not to forget, their crinkle-cut fries are the perfect sidekick to any meal – golden and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. And of course, you can’t visit Shake Shack without trying their legendary shakes. The chocolate shake I had was rich, creamy, and the perfect end to a delightful meal.
The ambiance of Shake Shack is just as impressive as their food. With a modern, clean, and inviting space, it’s the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a fun evening out. The staff deserves a shoutout too; they were friendly, efficient, and made sure my order was exactly as I wanted.
In summary, Shake Shack has earned its reputation for a reason. It’s not just about the food, which is consistently excellent, but also about the overall experience that makes you feel welcomed and satisfied. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreI've been to Shake Shack before and I'm a fan of their burgers. I was excited when they announced Shake Shack was opening by Menlo Park Mall. We went the first weekend it opened. It was a disaster. There was so much confusion. If you ordered ahead it was a possibility someone else that ordered ahead looked through your bag to see if it was theirs. The wait was 45 mins to an hour. The staff was hustling but appeared to be a little overwhelmed. First weekend I get it I understand hiccups will occur. After getting my food it didn't have that Shake Shack taste. My girlfriend ordered a root beer float and just received a root beer soda in a bottle. We was so annoyed by the process, and long wait we decided just to take it as is. When leaving the parking lot you need patience, its one way in and one way out. Traffic nightmare right across the street from the mall. We decided to go back after the hype died down a little, unfortunately it was still missing that Shake Shack taste. I would rather take the drive down to Princeton thirty minutes away for a...
