Atilis Gym Of EHT — Attraction in Egg Harbor Township

I trained here for a month. My experience was about average as there were both things I liked and things that could be improved. I will outline both below to give a fair evaluation:

Positives: the aesthetics of the gym are really good. I like the wall decorations and there is a decent variety of equipment. The middle aged guy at the front desk seemed nice. It’s around $35/month, no commitment, which is pretty decent. I wasn’t charged any fees on top of it. They have pretty good hours too.

Negatives: the water fountain does not operate at all and there seems to be no effort to fix it. It was broken the entire month I was there. I also dropped a weight on my finger and was worried about losing the nail since it was beginning to change colors. I went to the front desk and told them what happened, requesting ice. The female at the front desk showed no concern about if I was okay and just responded flatly, “we have no ice, sorry.” I wasn’t offered a bandage or any first aid at all. It’s unusual for a gym to not have anything for injuries and the lack of concern was frustrating as I was in excruciating pain. That was the main reason I went elsewhere after the month ended. Also, the music is sometimes turned up at a deafening volume and it gets pretty crowded.

Overall, not a terrible place. I think if they fixed the water fountain, turned down the music a bit, invested in first aid equipment, and spoke to staff on showing concern for injuries it...

Well this is a great gym !! I was at island gym in eht because it was closer but there contracts are annoying and they won’t let you quit . What I mean by that is they keep taking money out of your account when you try to quit even if your dead most likely. There price for a month is extremely high. I think it was around 60 and nobody will work with your needs there. Atilis Gym is the best gym in the area with great help and always will try there best accommodate your needs. You can just be yourself there . The atmosphere will really encourage you to train serious and hard. They will have more then what you need I’m sure. If you have a complaint they will fix immediately weather changing music , cleaning bathrooms or anything else that comes up. I would rate 10 stars if possible. Great job !! New local, trying to work on myself but wary of having been pitched too many long-term membership pricing charts via-phone when I called to ask about gym equipment. I’m not yet a client however I called in to ask about equipment and pricing, wary to be upsold from the get-go on yearly gym passes from front desk sales (as I have experienced many times).

Chris was kind, helpful, listened to my needs and questions and answered promptly to the point, without trying to upsell or shame. It was straight forward and I felt very welcome. I haven’t even stepped in yet, and I rarely leave reviews but I will be doing both. A+++
