Cappaert Contemporary Gallery/Studio — Attraction in Egg Harbor

My mother and I walked the streets of Egg Harbor, looking at the eggs that are exquisitely painted. We saw one outside this business and then walked around the building looking at the art in the landscaping. My mom loved several of the pieces and said she wished we had driven so she could have taken items home.

We didn't wait for the shop to open to check it out inside. But the owner saw us and said we were fine to check out the items. I also noticed several security cameras around...

This location does have a few really neat pieces. The reason we stopped was we read about the artist as being one that studies Monet. Monet is one of my wife's favorite artist. The artwork on display is nothing like his works even though it does look like maybe that was what was attempted.

The staff person did not seem interested in us and spent the entire time we were in the shop looking at her phone or talking...

Loved the whole visit. A wonderful house recreated as an outstanding art gallery.

We were warmly welcomed by the artist and owner. The gallery is well lit and displays carefully thought out.

Veranda on the way to her studio was inviting and a place that would be great sit and have a glass of wine.
