See's Candies — Attraction in El Cajon

Not your average Hershey bar!

See's candies is fantastic, and always worth the more expensive price tag.

Depending on what time of year you go, the store can range from just a couple customers in the summer to lines out the door at Christmas.

The shop is wheelchair accessible and mobility aid friendly for those who require.

There is not a bathroom on site, but there is a bathroom located at the food court, less than a 5 minute walk away.

The store is clean, organized, and speedy.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, offering a free sample at every visit.

My personal favorite is the apple pie truffle.

Newly discovered is their licorice selection. Well made and delicious.

Sadly I have to edit my review. Last night we took the kiddos to the mall for the Halloween bizarre. Apparently there was an area we had to get registered to even trick or treat and walk around. Every single store we went to never mentioned ONCE we need an orange bag. The way were denied services and the tone was so unpleasant and disheartening. How many of us grew up going to See's Candy I've wanted I've been going for well over 58 years. Many a good memory was with my mom and I and she took me to See's Candies as I grew up. The candy is always been delicious and my most favorite chocolate to eat. I love the fudge with walnuts very delicious and well worth trying as are all the chocolates.
