Tea Monks Parkway Plaza — Restaurant in El Cajon

So last week I came to this location twice cus this place got amazing drinks but service were horrible. Both times that I came here. The employees were too busy talking to each other and pretended they didn't see me. They literally turned their back and kept talking then more people got in line waiting. They were still talking non-stop. As the line built up then they finally decided to take orders. As one of them were taking my order. She was still talking to the other girl. I told her what drinks I wanted and she repeated after me but for some reason one of the drinks were wrong. It took them a good while to make the drinks so I didn't even want to bother to tell them and wait even longer. Also with their careless greeting. It's obvious they didn't want to work nor be there to deal with customers. All they wanted to do just to " talk and hang out." Very disappointed. Hire other people instead having them...

Jessica and the gentleman working with her on weekday lunchtimes are always bright and welcoming when I visit. Theyve introduced me to trying new drinks after getting to know my favorite drink profiles, and always leave smiling as I collect my order. Their immediate attentiveness encourages a welcoming environment of minimal to no wait times, their attention to quality has surpassed drinks I've had in other cafes, and their friendly attitudes have made this a weekly - or even daily sometimes - stop for me. Another thing that makes the visits fun is the new drink creations they live at the sample counter! A few days ago Jessica left out a Chamango sample and it became my new favorite drink, which I ordered today. She recommended that I try it with the mango popping jellies , for anyone...

Taro milk tea flavor is one of my all time favorite after trying it at #TeaMonks!! It’s just the right amount of sweet, its light and I love adding the different jello pearls in it and it is perfect for any season! I am so hooked to it that during long weekend drive back from SFO, we stopped over at Citadel mall to get food and I saw a boba place at the food court, and since I was craving for the taro boba tea, I bought one from there , they added custard to it (which I didn’t care for and it made it too sweet anyways) but it was nowhere near the flavor and didn’t taste like Taro! Guess I can’t get over the yummy flavor of Atari from TeaMonks! Go give it a try folks, you wouldn’t regret it!
