Elizabeth City/Pasquotank County Senior Center — Local services in Elizabeth City

My experience at this place was not good. I was told I couldn’t work out with my client. I was a visitor and I was there for my client. I’m there to help push my client. Yes, I’m not 55. But I did have on a visitor badge. The director or whomever that lady was approach me and a scary and rude way. She told me this three time. “You’re not 55 you can’t be working out with your client” and she only came to me once. And said that exact sentence three times. That’s Ludacris. The director or whomever she was she really scared me. I was only trying to motivate my client. If my client seen me working out then that means she wants to workout too. Plus I had a visiting badge on. Why come at me so hard??? Then call my job to complain about me working out with my client. That felt like harassment. The lady at the front desk didn’t give me know heads up about the rules or nothing. October 28,24 was my first time visiting the senior center. Now, for as the work out instructor he was nice and he did an amazing job.

Please let people know about the rules ahead of time. Let them know before they go in the back with their clients. That...
