Can't really rate them, good or bad because I didn't get a chance to taste the food. My spouse and I went in to try to food. I placed an order, got my number and waited to be called. After a while I went to check the status of my order because I heard numbers higher than mines being called. I asked the hostess about my order, she responded " I hadn't been called yet but it should be soon." I stood there and waited. The hostess called another number higher than mines at that time a man walked up with a tray of food and said he had the wrong order and took the one they had just called. To my disbelief now my number was being called they were going to give me the food that the man had taken to his table and being to eat. I asked for a refund. I was refunded my money never to taste food from Quality Seafood. In ending, I guess I am rating their organizational abilities, morals, service, and not the quality...
Read moreThey don't see anything wrong with selling dead, light crabs that should have been thrown back. Shells so thin I could crunch it in my hand and empty inside. If they had at the least been apologetic it would have been one thing but they truly believe what they did was fine. Light shells mean the others can puncture the shells with their claws and then when they steam they fill with salty water, leaving the meat useless. Obviously were dead when put in the pot or the shells would not have been busted up. Funny how the light ones were on the very bottom. They knew they gave me inferior crabs so now I can't trust them to give me my money's worth. Should I have to empty the bag and check them all before I leave the store in case they did it again? Can't find another store in EC that sells crabs so they have no competition and feel no need to give quality I...
Read moreWe stopped in for dinner with friends and placed our order. The place was packed and there were cars waiting to pick up their food orders at the drive-up window lined out onto the street. I ordered the broiled shrimp and scallops and my husband got the fried shrimp dinner. Portions were just right, seafood was cooked perfectly and we only waited 10-15 minutes once we placed our order for dine-in. The 4 stars was for the corn on the cob being overcooked - I wish I could give 4.5 stars with this minor quibble. I see why this joint is so popular!
If you want to get fresh seafood to cook at home, they have a seafood counter with a variety of fish and shellfish, crabs, clams and oysters for you to do up anyway you please. We love how convenient their location is to our home so we will be back to try out more...
