Blue Heron Park — Attraction in Emerald Isle

The park was great for our kids age 2-4, and could be good for older or younger kids too. The climbing structure is great with three different slides (bonus points for the top level of the structure being closed off except for the slide entrance, aka no scary drops for kids to fall off!) There are swings and other smaller structures to climb on. There’s a lifeguard stand and playhouse inside a sandbox. The restrooms are clean though the light wasn’t working when we went. I love this park!! Blue Heron Park is a wonderful and safe place for the whole family. The tennis courts are a beutiful piece of real estate designed for tennis and pickle ball, situated right next to the police station watching over the grounds keeping everybody safe from creeps and wackos. I would reccomend this park to anybody for a good family experience of fun...
