Emerald Club — Restaurant in Emerald Isle

I have always loved emerald club and really enjoyed the live music. However, last night I had an awful experience with the overly aggressive bouncers. My family and I were being yelled at by another customer and when a friend simply came over and stood in between us and SUCCESSFULLY de-escalated the situation, he was aggressively dragged out by multiple bouncers for just helping calm everyone down. After that took place my family was assaulted by the group who was originally harassing us and they made us leave and the aggressors were allowed to stay and didn’t even speak to the cops. When I asked the bouncers why my friend was drug out they said they try not to touch women so they chose to aggressively drag out someone for doing what they should have done, which was de-escalating the situation. I am very upset and disappointed by how all of their bouncers handled the situation. Everything they did was aggressive and uncalled for. There was a much better way to handle this situation. I hope they learn from their mistakes and that no one else has to go...

Great atmosphere. Drinks are a bit overpriced for the little plastic cups you get. Service is great. Matt, Bill, and Sydney are solid. Tip well, they earn it!

Ring game, massive connect 4, good events and I'm pissed there's apparently a DJ and foam night and I've missed it every time. 2 OLD gambling machines. 1 pool table and 2 darts.

Suggestion from Raleigh boy, need at least 1 more table but understand no more space. Foosball table would be nice. Please sell those machines and get something at least 10yrs old or newer.

I always suggest selling waterboy or chips/crackers at dive bars. Not great margins but would help patrons (totally not me) out.

Bathrooms. You feel like you're in a small camping lodge in pisgah national forest. A lot of open room and not a lot of privacy.

All and all, I like the spot. Get bigger plastic cups or pour them stronger with less ice. Also suggest at least 2 polywood seating areas. Folk (totally not me) need BACK SUPPORT!

Late night beach bar perfection. Dancing and live music inside and outside, very reasonably priced drinks, outside games, a not-too-sticky floor, clean enough bathrooms, and a fantastic spread of customers ready for fun. Service is solid, bartenders are swift and courteous, and the bouncers look jacked enough to stop any debauchery that gets out of hand. Witnessed one of them with a bowl of food in hand the entire evening, so good to see they’re fueling up to keep everyone in line. Had so much fun I forgot to take photos. Also—pizza vendor outside looked great and people seemed to be enjoying it. If I ever go back to Emerald Isle I will...
