10/10 Absolutely DO NOT Recommend 🚩horrible management….. we sat outside, order food for two adults and 5 kids, ages 10,7,6,3,2. Mom and grandma had their hands full to say the least. The umbrella was moving with the wind and hit my 10 year old in the face so he went to make it go higher, I didn’t see him attempt this and it broke…. Happened with a matter of seconds. Our waitress was standing right there when it happened, so three adults didn’t have time to catch the incident in time to tell him not to touch the umbrella….. the string was clearly dry rotted and snapped. Well our waitress went inside and got the manager “Dianna Wichal” I believe was her name. She was wearing a cast on her right foot and she had dark shoulder length hair. Any ways she approached our table with my 10 year old sitting right across from me, holds up the dry rotted string and said “so how did this happen” with a very snappy tone, then I “said I’m not quite sure it happened so fast, my son touched it and within seconds it broke.” She said “well these umbrellas are $200 a piece, and there are signs everywhere stating NOT TO TOUCH them and to ask for help” I told her I didn’t appreciate her tone in front of my child, accidents happen! He is 10. Then I said where are all the signs, she gladly pointed them out, I said well he is dyslexic and can’t read so the signs wouldn’t apply to him so I guess it’s my fault for not catching him fast enough before touching. The unprofessional approach in front of my kids was completely uncalled for. My 10 year old is still crying cause he feels so bad and that’s not okay! Be more understandable next time! He is a child and accidents happen all the time. I will never eat here again or...
Read moreMy family and I went to Snapperz Emeral Isle last night for dinner. There was decent parking. We got there around 7:45pm with a large party and the wait was one hour. As long as we got on the list before 9pm we were served. There was music and a cornhole board set up for people waiting. Lots of bench seating and waiting tables set up. There’s a cute outdoor bar in the outdoor eating area which is a cool sand pit with covered picnic tables. The drinks were delicious I had a rum runner and the wait wasn’t terrible. Once we were seated, the service was impeccable. We ordered lots of apps, dinners, and desserts. All of the food was delicious. 3 of our group got the steam pots and I had the Cobia Oscar. The kids got a burger and chicken fingers. They said “oh they have the good fries here” the kind that are extra crispy on the outside. We were nearly silent once the food came out everything was so good!! I only drop a star because there was a little delay on some dipping sauces after the wrong kind was initially brought out. Since we were there until almost 10pm and a lot of closing activities were going on, it was understandable. Overall, the atmosphere was bright, fun, and enjoyable. Live music going on nearby was interfering some with the music at the restaurant and general conversation. Again, being Saturday night this was totally understandable. I would definitely come back...
Read moreFirst of all- our waitress was so sweet and the staff was very friendly. We didn’t see her much, but being a Friday night and coming from the restaurant business, I completely understood. My complaint is on the food- our hush puppies were good but that was about it. I spent $145 in there and my son almost threw up in the waste bucket over the fried calamari. He then tried it again and made it to the restroom. I tried it and spit it out in the bucket- the squid was exceptionally chewier than usual and the outside was not fried enough. We ordered 2 plates of them- one better than other- but both needed to be cooked longer. My daughter ordered a cluster. My family loves crab legs but these tasted like spoiled fish. The smell alone was horrible. I’m not sure if they were not steamed long enough or left out and spoiled but it was the worse crab I’ve ever tasted. Waste of $24 for a cluster of 4 skinny legs. I got the Cancun nachos- they were ok- the little pieces of shrimp on them were raw tasting and again too chewy. I picked around them and ate basically your normal American nachos. Luckily we ordered extra hush puppies and 2orders of French fries, bc my seafood loving kids filled up on potatoes. We came here bc we had heard nothing but good things but other than the happy faces on the staff, it was a horrible experience and next summer we will...
