This place has been there for a year, according to the clerk who was behind the counter, and I never knew it was there. When I found it and parked my truck in the small lot, I was astonished at how small the place was. Any more than three or so people would make it almost impossible to browse the bins.
Having said that, I'd also note that the selection was fairly comprehensive, though, due to the small size of the shop, there would have to be certain omissions. After all, this shop isn't like the TARDIS. There was also one smaller room down a hallway, as well as some vintage and newer stereo equipment for sale. Memorabilia lined the walls of the hallway on the way to the small room.
Prices were reasonable, probably about average. The one clerk behind the counter was very pleasant, polite, rang me up quickly, briefly discussed one of the bands whose album I purchased, then wished me a good day.
Frankly, I'll be back. I've been purchasing records from other vendors (namely Amazon), but if I can spend the money in my neighborhood, and help support the independent guy, that's what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis record store is hands-down amazing! My phone was completely dead when I came in to pick up my vinyl (with the exclusive red sleeve Iād been waiting for), and the staff were so kind letting me charge it so I could actually complete my pickup. They also hosted an unforgettable twenty one pilots listening party ā from the music to the energy, it was everything. On top of that, they gave us the chance to write notes to the band, and they even reposted a bunch of my posts on their Instagram, which made the whole experience feel so personal and exciting. You can tell they really care about fans and community. Definitely a 5-star spot for records, memories, and...

I found no other store in the country charging more than $40. Grateful Dead box set, $139 at Twist and Shout. Bought at Sold Out for over $150. Better Than Ezra, was almost $72 at Sold Out. No higher than $61 anywhere else I looked. my fault for going there without researching pricing. But it's crazy high compared to every other store I shopped at, either in person or online. And I don't care that you paid your employees 1.5x and opened at 6:00. You...
