Black Book Gallery — Attraction in Englewood

I requested a certification of authenticity for a previous order of a Shepard Fairy print be sent to me; they are offered and come with purchases of Fairy prints from the gallery - but I did not receive one. In the email request I provided the purchase receipt and they verified the edition number however the cert has not, after almost a month and a half, and they have ghosted me when I ask for a status update. Perhaps they are selling fraudulent prints? At this point I have to assume the print could be a knock off and not authentic since they won't provide a certification of authenticity. I haven’t been to this gallery in person, seeing as I currently live in Canada, however I have made a few purchases from BBG over the last 2-3 years and have been very happy with their offerings, service, and care when it comes to packaging and shipping. Wish I had more photos of framed art to share! My only suggestion is to maybe include CoAs with each edition print, as none of my purchases have come with any certificates of authenticity, while sites like 1xRun for instance include these with every purchase (the Mike Giant...

Blackbook gallery has hosted one of my favorite artists. The space is clean, polished and open. The location on the corner is great as well.
