I am local to the neighborhood.
In terms of latte and cortado; it’s just missing the passion, time efficiency, and THE CREATIVITY.
I find the coffee roast they have on espresso LACKING. May be due to barista lack of performance OR knowledge.
WHY NOT PROVIDE A FEW DIFFERENT ESPRESSO VARIETIES? GIVE IT TO THE PEOPLE. MAKE IT FEASIBLE FOR THE BUSINESS. RE-INVENT THAT PASSION. PUT A COUPLE VARIETIES OF ESPRESSO ON AT A TIME FOR CONSUMERS & ENSURE “IN DEPTH” TRAINING
( I say this as the espresso, despite being the sole blend which its taste should be uniform between baristas, is variable in quality control.)
The milk should never be still (your baristas should be “moving” that milk (dairy or alternative otherwise).
By this I mean: rotating or shaking the milk (or milk alternative) BEFORE & AFETER the steaming process (up until you pour milk I to my espresso) to ensure lack of separation before pouring into espresso, BUT ALSO it keeps the milk from separating, ALSO keeps the heat more uniform)… (taste is key, darlings, please don’t serve a half hot drink).
Also I, know y’all (baristas) are very endearing to each other as coworkers (based off of the amount of conversation amongst fellow baristas I’ve observed), but you all need to keep that ship moving (have all the convos with other coworkers you want, I don’t care) ESPECIALLY on FIRST OPENING!
ITS EARLY BUT I DONT GOT THE TIME TO WATCH YALL YAP, BUT ALSO NOTTTT BE MOVING.
Yap all you want but, please for the sake of my coffee please don’t just talk while you stand there for the espresso shots to finish. Come on.
Milk can be shaking AND be steaming AND rotating. Keep it all in motion.
BASICALLY, Just because it’s 6:30 / 6:40 AM doesn’t mean I want to watch you stand there and talk to your coworkers while YOU forget to keep doing something with your hands AND MINDFULLY SO! We all work, let’s go.
Morning crew I come to you and I am disappointed. The roast selection could be better and more diverse, BUT OPENERS YOUR consistency is just lacking between shifts….
You’re the closest to my place of work and where I live.
BUT I’ve HONESTLY IVE thought of BACK TRACKING to CORVUS in the AM just because of the LACK of motion AND “slow” / objectively less efficient AND LESSER QUALITY that is produced.
Despite only one blend being on for espresso, I WOULD EXPECT MORE from the execution of said blend, if you’re going to do one roasted blend for espresso… do it, but sheesh do it well..
Thank you for your service, but the service could be more skilled and intentional. Chat all you want with coworkers or customers but keep that ship moving in a more efficient and talented / artisan way. YOU...
Read moreA Caffeine Oasis: Where Beans Meet Dreams!
Welcome to Mango Tree, my second home and the caffeine castle where I have spent more hours than I care to admit. For years now, I’ve been making my pilgrimage to this hallowed hall of espresso and antics, where the staff knows me better than my own mother (sorry, Mom).
From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted like a rock star who’s just returned from a world tour. They know your name, your favorite drink, and probably your childhood pet’s name. The baristas here are not just slinging coffee; they’re brewing relationships. It’s like Cheers, but with more caffeine and fewer bar fights.
Let’s talk about the coffee: it’s amazing! Sourced from the finest beans, it’s like drinking liquid gold, with the hefty price tag, I mean just look at how much I just spent. Each cup is a masterpiece, crafted with the precision of a Swiss watchmaker and the passion of a thousand poets. Seriously, if coffee were an Olympic sport, these guys & gals would be gold medalists.
Now, about the merch. If there were a world record for the most merch in one coffee shop, Mango Tree would hold the title. T-shirts, mugs, tote bags, stickers – you name it, they’ve got it. I’ve got enough Mango Tree gear to start my own pop-up shop.
But it’s not just about coffee and consumerism here. Mango Tree is a hub of community spirit. They also partner with a global non-profit that works with local leaders to improve the lives of children and families in need. No strings attached, just pure, unadulterated goodwill. It’s enough to make you cry a river - then swim in it.
This coffee shop isn’t just for hipsters or caffeine addicts; it’s a welcoming haven for all age groups. Whether you’re a toddler toddling in with your parents or a retiree reminiscing about the good old days, there’s a spot for you here (mainly at the community table)😉.
In conclusion, Mango Tree is a lifestyle, a beacon of hope in a world that desperately needs it. I love coming here so much that one day, I hope to join the ranks of the legendary baristas and brew magic for the next generation of coffee enthusiasts (Grace please hire me). Cheers to Mango Tree, where the beans are dreamier, the vibes are friendlier, and the future...
Read moreThis location is stellar. The baristas are not only friendly and bubbly, but they really care and are intentional with the customers. My latte was delicious and it was the perfect amount of sweetness with the espresso being most present since I really don't like ice cream lattes. I also loved the vibes, especially the brick interior. Some coffee shops go ultra-minimalist and just have no personality.
The service was a tad slow if you're trying to grab-and-go since the baristas do talk a lot. But I take it as a good sign that they like working here and enjoy each other's company. I can't stand going to coffee shops and the baristas are all bitter, so I find their energy refreshing.
There was so much space at the front of the cafe, at the back with a co-working table in addition to outside seating. There is also free parking on site. I've been to at least 7 coffee shops in and around Denver, including in Littleton/Englewood, and this is exactly what I was looking for. It's my new favorite...
