There’s No Place Like Erie. For me and my family, Erie is more than just a spot on the map—it’s home. We’ve had seasons where life pulled us away, but somehow, we always find ourselves coming back. And every time we do, Erie welcomes us like we never left. Whether it’s the calm of Presque Isle beaches, grabbing tacos from a local spot, or simply running into someone you know at the grocery store, there’s a rhythm here that feels like real life. It’s community. It’s connection. It’s comfort. Moments like that remind me why Erie is special. It’s not just about the landmarks or the lake (although Lake Erie never disappoints). It's about the memories you create here. It’s about seeing your family grow up against the same backdrops that shaped you. We travel. We explore. But there’s nothing like coming home to Erie.

Want to know all there is to know about Erie, Pennsylvania, and all hiking trails and museums? Make a stop here, and you will be amazed at how much there is to do. Right across from Erie Maritime Musuem is a building with bus stations, government offices, and a room full of booklets and brochures from Erie to the surrounding counties and surrounding states. Come and check it out!

Erie's going thru some problems right now, but i still have a lot of GREAT FEELINGS for this Lake Side City. I'm from Pittsburgh, but my Parents brought my brother & i up there a lot for Family Vacations & long Weekends!! I think the CITY OF ERIE has grown up BIG-TIME!! We Camped at EDINBORO LAKE & CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS!! My wife & i along w/ our kids Camped at the KOA KAMPGROUNDS in McKean Pa!! We fished at PRESQUE ISLE STATE PARK & at DOBBINS LANDING near Hamot Hospital!! If you're looking for a SUPER VACATION DESTINATION, You couldn't be more SATISFIED than a trip to ERIE, PA!! It's worth the gas & time!!...

Great job VisitErie! Come to Erie and see!!! PROS: There is a lot that goes on all year round here. FOOD IS AMAZING IN ERIE!!! Fantastic eats at most local places. I prefer to eat locally owned over big chain eateries. There are all types of events, theatrical shows, amusement parks, churches, and sporting venues. GREEKFEST TOO!!! It's a summer fun town. CONS: Biggest drawback is the unpredictable weather. Rains as much here as it did in Seattle. Only difference is Seattle has 2 more sunny days a year on average and...
