They get 5/5 for service and atmosphere because the short time I was inside felt comfortable and my order was ready when they said (well the Internet said) it would be. The sushi itself is really good and I'll definitely go back and help support a local business. I got takeout because I'm an introverted person and prefer sitting in my car listening to music. That aside I ordered the sushi combo which is a tekka(tuna) roll and 8 pieces of regular sushi as well as a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll comes with celery inside (I could be wrong, please correct me if I am) and I feel like for $10 a roll they could remove that and put more actual tuna inside instead of using that as a filler. The sushi combo was great. The 4 different fish (2 tuna and 2 salmon varieties I believe) accent each other very well. The rice is perfect for what it's accompanying. And the tuna roll was also really good. I have no complaints and would rate them in the top 5 sushi places in Erie (which isn't difficult because there aren't too many). I'll definitely check them out...

My husband and I had dinner at this new sushi spot tonight, and it was absolutely excellent! The freshness of the ingredients was top-notch, and the presentation was so beautiful that we almost didn’t want to eat it! We tried the Gyoza, Spicy Shrimp signature roll, and the Shrimp Tempura and Spider classic rolls. You can really tell that they put their heart into every dish. Another great surprise was the portion sizes—the rolls were much larger than expected, especially compared to other places that charge the same price for half the amount. Definitely great value!

The service was also fantastic. Our waitress was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself is very clean, with charming sushi-themed paintings on the walls that add to the atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back! This place is bound to become popular once more people find out about it. We feel lucky to have tried it so soon after opening, and we’re excited to see it thrive. Highly...

If you’re a sushi lover in Erie, Oba Sushi is a must-visit! The food is exceptional—offering a perfect balance of classic rolls and inventive signature creations that cater to every taste. Whether you’re in the mood for something familiar or want to try something new, their menu has you covered.

The atmosphere is another standout. Despite the restaurant’s smaller size, the decor is beautifully designed to create an open, inviting space that feels much larger than it actually is. The modern yet cozy setting adds to the dining experience, making it an ideal spot for everything from casual dinners to special nights out.

Service is friendly and attentive, and the seating arrangements make the most of the space, ensuring a comfortable experience for everyone.

Highly recommend the signature rolls, they’re...

Oba – Erie’s New Sushi Hotspot! Oba is an incredible new addition to Erie’s food scene! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth by the kind and generous owners, who clearly care about their customers and their craft. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual dinner or a special night out. The sushi is fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Every roll is crafted with care, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. Though the space is small, Oba has all the charm of a hidden gem that won’t stay secret for long. If you love sushi, this is a must-visit! Stop by before the rest of Erie catches on—you won’t be disappointed!
