DO NOT GO HERE FOR PRE-CHECK
I rarely make a review (this is my first negative one) but this place was incompetent and ran by a lady who has no idea what she is doing.
First off, this location is the closest to where I live which is 30+ minutes out. I had created an appointment but when I arrived nobody was at the counter. Turns out she called out for work. I wish I would have gotten an email about a cancellation before wasting my time.
Then, I went again for a walk-in appointment. I saw the woman in charge sitting in a chair doing nothing. I asked if it was the TSA Pre-check and she said it was in an irritated voice; as if she was upset she had to do her job.
She then asked me for my passport and then my ID (which it turns out you don’t need to show ID if you have your passport). She did a few things on her tablet and then said “oh! Oh no! Son of a biscuit” loud enough for me to hear. She said her tablet “fatal-errored” and she couldn’t help me. She said it had been happening ALL DAY??
I’m sorry, but if your tablet is crashing FATALLY all day, why haven’t you closed? I forgot to mention that I called the store to make sure she was in-store before going. They said nothing about the tablet malfunctioning. I told her how disappointed I was about driving out twice and she gave me a snarky, rude reply about how she could barely drive because of a migraine the day before.
From the information and vibes she gave me, she knew the tablet wouldn’t work. She was just sitting in silence when I walked in, instead of trying to fix the issue. It’s much easier to do nothing and get paid for it.
She then told me to drive 16 minutes down the freeway to another location. I asked her about the name, and she gave me the wrong one (I had to Google it myself).
After going to the other Staples, I realized she didn’t do any of the procedures correct. She didn’t get my name or last name bulleted down, she didn’t actually need my ID since I brought my passport, and she honestly didn’t even want...

Wanted to enlarge a drawing to blueprint size and after 10 minutes of the employee hiding behind the counter and texting, employee told me it would take 24 hours for 1 enlarged copy since it was after 2 pm. Asked for the manager as I know this takes less than 5 minutes and have had it done after 2pm, manager advised it is store policy to take 24hours and stated the employee was busy with another project. Apparently texting on your phone when you’re supposed to be working is considered working on another project. Employee then told me to go across the street to the fedex store. I was stunned, closed my dropped jaw and left. Great service telling a customer to go somewhere else. By the way fedex did it in less than 5 minutes and was way less than staples. Read moreI went to staples on 10/31/24 around 2:30pm to get a poster sized document laminated. I assumed it would be something I could get done right then and there, but I was asked what time on 11/1 would I like to come back to pick up my order. I said I would be back around 12:30pm.
I arrived today at 12:33pm and got in the print center line. When it was my turn, the lady grabbed my order and handed it to me (rolled up with a rubber band). I started to walk away only to realize they hadn’t even laminated it! I even had an email from 10/31 at 8:48pm confirming that my order was ready for pick up. But clearly it was not and I’m not sure why.
