Part of the allure of Mrs. Walsh’s Garden is that it’s so unexpected there at a bend in West Elkhorn Avenue just beyond the several blocks of shops that draw tourists throughout the day. Look sharp, because it’s easy to miss.
It’s lovely, diverse plantings, paths and brickwork have been thoughtfully laid out, and the water feature being constructed now at the far end of the garden will no doubt compliment and blend well with the garden’s existing features.
If you enjoy flower gardens, desert succulents, collections of native plants and being pleasantly surprised, pay a visit to Mrs. Walsh’s Garden. It’s a short distance off the paths along the river if you’re strolling there.
