Our trip to Estes Park, Colorado, was made even more memorable when we stumbled upon Snowy Peak Winery. While I won't delve into how we ended up at this charming winery, I want to convey the kindness and care of the staff and owners, which reflects the warm hospitality of Estes Park.
Upon entering Snowy Peak Winery, we found ourselves in a cozy atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable wine tasting experience. The winery offers a delightful variety of wines, from robust reds to crisp whites, each with its unique character and flavor profile. As we sipped on our wine, we couldn't help but appreciate the craftsmanship that went into each bottle.
A highlight of our visit was the wine tasting experience, where Barb, our gracious host, guided us through a selection of their finest wines. Her expertise and passion for winemaking shone through as she shared the stories behind each vintage. We savored every sip, letting the flavors dance on our palates.
For families with children, Snowy Peak Winery thoughtfully provides a dedicated play area filled with books, toys, and more. Our kids had a blast while we enjoyed our wine, creating a perfect balance between relaxation and family fun.
What sets Snowy Peak Winery apart is its exclusive wine club, which allows you to enjoy their exceptional wines not only at the winery but also in the comfort of your home. Joining the wine club ensures that you can have their wines delivered to you and share the joy with your friends.
Located just a stone's throw away from Elkhorn Avenue, Snowy Peak Winery is a must-visit destination in Estes Park. Read morePassing through Estes Park for one night only on our road trip, this was the perfect stop for us (traveling with my mother in law, wife, and two daughters (ages 7 and 3)). The adults enjoyed the affordable wine tasting and shopping while the "No Whining Room" was a big with the girls! Plenty of toys, books, and coloring to keep them entertained after too much time in the car! They even got to enjoy a complimentary juice/cider tasting. It was a big hit with them! I am not wine expert to give an honest review of the wines that we sampled, but the hospitality was first rate. Not only did we to sample wine within sight and sound of our entertained children, but we got plenty of background knowledge of each wine we sampled. I was also able to share in conversation with the owner who was serving us my travel plans for the next few days and she gave me a few tips and recommendations for my drive through Rocky Mountain National Park that were honestly spot on and and very helpful for fine tuning my trip to meet hiking abilities , interest, and attention span of my travel companions. Great pride in her business and in her town! My only complaint, is that I didn't see a "No Whining Room" sign that would have been a perfect photo op to commemorate our visit to the...
Read moreWe went there 2/17/18 between 3:30 and 4:30. It was taking very long before anyone helped us, and we still never got service. Long story short, while still waiting, I was stepped on by an employee, on my foot that I recently had surgery on. (Out of instincts of pain I pushed her off my foot), and I feel horrible for doing that and I didn't mean to, it was just pain instincts. So to that young female (looked like she was in her mid 20's) I am so sorry and please forgive me. About 5 min later, she came outside, (where my husband took me reach to their outside table and chairs so that I could sit down), and asked if she can get anything for me. (While in tears crying because of the foot pain from her stepping on my surgery foot), I said: No thanks. She was shaky and we could tell she felt very bad for what she did to me. And she said: I am so sorry. In tears while getting on my husbands back as he had to carry me to the car..... ....I told her: It's ok it was accidental but thank you. We are in town for our honeymoon, and because of the employee hurting my surgery foot, the rest of our day is now canceled. Are are not from here, and...
