I feel I should have been told that all sales were final at purchase. I bought a brand new pair of kids shoes that were definitely on the more expensive side and they were too small. Iām not rich so I cannot afford to lose money on a pair of brand new shoes! I understand you cannot return used merchandise but for brand new items, returns or exchange should be allowed. I donāt mind paying higher prices so I can support local, small businesses but what I donāt want to do is waste money for a product I cannot even use. Itās a cute store, I love their stuff, but it just doesnāt seem right that they donāt tell you all sales are final. I only saw that all sales were final when I got my receipt ready to take back and hopefully exchange the shoes. Iāll update my review if Iām allowed to exchange the shoes for a bigger size. They did tell me about the 3% surcharge on credit cards which I appreciate. I wanted to go back and get several items for family members for Christmas but Iād like my family to be able to exchange the item if they donāt like it so not sure if I will return or not. After making our purchase, we were having a difficult time bringing up the LYFT APP to get home. We went back in the store to wait inside, because it was too cold out. So i asked the employee if it was okay to wait inside until we were able to order a ride. No sooner had another worker(dealer) suggested that she refuse, because we may just want to rob them. (I heard everything by the way). We were dressed decently, so why the profiling??? Or was it because i'm Asian???then the employee suggested we go next door to the bar, where the signal would be better. First of all, we don't hangout at Bars, and we don't drink, so there's no reason for us to be there. I was shocked and hurt by her remark!! Especially after spending quite a bit of money at their store. And it wasn the first time we spent quite a bit of money there. But it will definitely be the last time!! I won't be returning anytime soon, now that i know how they treat their returning customers. Take a refresher course in retail....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible sales woman, rather large person, think her name was Sonya. Been in shop a couple times and took my sis and her kids to dinner at the Vintage cafe. Was waiting for the bill and suggested she take the kids next door so they didn't have to wait, and look around, maybe find some last minute Christmas items. Walked into the shop to find this person following the kids around and staring them down. These kids are well dressed, not dirty, quiet, well behaved. Hmmm? Wonder if this person's behavior was because the 2 youngest are biracial???!!!?? So sad, and quite maddening!!! The little ones have been through so much already in there little lives!! Thanx for the horrible experience!!!! Carma lady, oh...
