The Fade Lounge Barbershop Everett — Attraction in Everett

Tha Fade Lounge came up on my radar in my search for a locally owned barber shop that felt comfortable and welcoming, I also was hoping to find a place that had staff who were skilled in their work but also had a creative vision when working with clients. To be honest, I didn't really have a clear idea of what I wanted for my next haircut and nor knew which stylist I should book. Luckily, I was able to set up an appointment online very easily and booked an appointment with Shep who came highly recommended (All the other stylists had high marks as well which made my decision challenging in a very good way).

Upon entering I felt at home and sensed a very positive and creative energy right off the bat. Shep kindly acknowledged my presence while still working with his client before me. The space felt very comfortable as I was enjoying the music while waiting for my appointment. This place is really cool and is the first barbershop I've frequented that had a pool table. I will also add that the owner and the other staff were very cordial and welcoming.

In hindsight I was very glad that fortunate to be able to schedule my first appointment with Shep. He was very personable, approachable, and really took time to listen and ask me what I was envisioning for my haircut. To be honest, I've always felt challenged trying to describe what I wanted which, must be challenging for most stylists). This time was no different and I told Shep that I really didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted and said it might be best if He were given creative license as to what might be best. He told me not to worry and reassured me that He had a vision that I would be very happy with. I'm really glad that I did so. Shep didn't seem rushed or wanting to buzz me and get me out the door. It was evident that He approached his craft with a creative conviction and aesthetic like a painter or musician. Needless to say, I was very happy with my haircut. It really exceeded my expectations. My wife loved the haircut immediately at first sight which says quite a lot about the quality and craftsmanship of Shep's work.

Bottom line, I very pleased with my experience and I can attest that all the positive reviews true! I am new to the area so I have been trying to find a new barber here in Everett. I have tried a few places which have been underwhelming but I finally found this place. Got my haircut with Marlon and he did a tremendous job. I am latino with straight hair and he did a great fade and does an awesome undercut as well as blend my beard to fade into my haircut.

Marlon is a great conversationalist and takes his time to make sure he gets you exactly what you want. He also lets you know what each cut is called so I know exactly how to ask for it next time. I will be going back to him for my cuts here on...
