Fun place to just visit or shop at for your favorite Funko stuff. They have Deadpool, DC Super Heroes, Fortnite, Harry Potter, StarWars, Disney, Hello Kitty, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Justice League and more. All in their own Funko version of characters. I love the Wetmore Forest characters. So cute! They even have plush versions. The display area is whimsical and a visual treat. For $15 you can create your own Funko character. An employee hands out a piece of paper with the prices on it. That was the only employee that interacted with us unless I actually flagged one down. They do not have prices on anything. Instead they hand out a piece of paper with prices on it and it is not always easy to decipher what price is for what item. They need to get rid of that system and put prices on their items. They need to work on their customer service. The employees walk right past you and don't even greet you or ask if they can help in anyway or ask if you are you enjoying your time there. Two guys at the front desk were more interested in talking to each other and looking at their computer then even greeting people or speaking to someone standing there waiting to get their attention. I would give it more stars if they have better customer service. UPDATE: Visited again a week later. it was really busy on my last visit and I wanted to see how it was now that kids are in school and summer is over. Just about had the place to myself. Took more pictures to post and I stayed there for about 15-20 minutes looking at different items and was trying to find certain characters for my grandson. Not one time did any of the many employees that walked past me or were organizing and stocking things ask me if I needed help or how my visit was going. One of the guys at the front desk greeted me heartily, that was nice. They definitely need to step up their game with customer service. Three different times I had to ask somebody for help and there were plenty of workers around but not one interacted with me unless I spoke first. Three stars for customer service, five stars for the store itself. Fun to visit at Christmas time too. My grandson loved getting The Grinch Funko character. The kids can write a Funko Santa letter and mail it in their...
Read moreI don't ever write reviews to places because I know that sometimes folks just have a bad day or there are staffing issues, especially during a pandemic. However, this experience was so upsetting to me I could not help but leave a review unfortunately.
To preface, my 14 year old autistic son is a huge Marvel fan. We live over 3 hours away, and very seldomly travel because it is a huge stress on my son. However, he is a fanatic for Funko Pops and as a gift to him, we wanted to take him to the store to purchase some of his favorites as well as make a custom Funko.
Initially the visit was great. There was one employee in particular who was extremely helpful and very patient with my son, especially as he has a tendency to speak over others and enjoys story-telling. Whoever the employee with long blonde hair is, thank you for taking the time to listen to my son and help him find his favorite Funko Pops.
However, when my son was checking out, the girl working the register was very unkind to him. My son has auditory processing issues, and at times, may not understand or hear someone correctly. I can't say what happened exactly, but it seems that this employee (she has black hair) was extremely impatient and rude to my son. My son told me that she continuously told him to "hurry up" and even asked him if he was "slow"? I honestly can't even believe I am typing this up in this day and age; it's humiliating.
This experience left my son in tears and we dealt with several panic attacks on the drive home. I do not mean to shoulder responsibility of this onto one employee, but I genuinely cannot believe that this establishment would employ someone like this. Another employee around (another woman with shorter black hair) seemed to turn a blind eye despite my son being clearly distressed.
I won't be returning to this location ever again. My son loves Funko Pops and we will simply have to do all of our purchasing online...
Read moreA Fun and Creative Experience at the Funko Store in Everett, WA
Our visit to the Funko store in Everett, Washington, was an unforgettable experience, almost akin to exploring a museum filled with imaginative characters and unique collections. Despite not being close to home, we made a weekend trip specifically to see this iconic store, and it was worth every mile.
Upon entering the store, we were immediately captivated by the vibrant and detailed displays featuring an array of collections from Disney, Star Wars, and various princesses, to an assortment of other beloved characters. Each section was meticulously designed, making the store a visual feast and a haven for photo opportunities.
One of the highlights of our visit was the "Pop! Yourself" station. This innovative feature allowed us to create personalized Funko Pop! figures. The process was both fun and engaging, offering a variety of customization options like different hairstyles, outfits, and accessories, though the faces remained standard. My husband, who has no hair, and I, with gray hair, found the choices for short and long hairstyles particularly delightful. Once designed, our custom figures were placed in official Funko boxes, making us feel like part of the collection.
The staff at the Funko store were friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The store itself was not only a retail space but also a creative and entertaining environment that delighted us with its originality and playful spirit.
For anyone who loves pop culture and collectibles, the Funko store in Everett is a must-visit. It's a fun, creative, and unique destination that promises a memorable adventure for both kids and adults alike. We left with great memories, unique souvenirs, and a strong desire to return. Highly...
