Iāve been going to this place for about 17 years, I called ahead for a reservation for 3:30 pm and it was almost 4:00 PM and i was still waiting patiently because I work in retail and know what itās like for a place to be busy and how things run in a business. Im a blind waiter at a Diner in Bergen county, recently have gotten a lot of PR from the press and am just a human being like everyone else. While i was waiting patiently a rude women who came when the place was already closed when the hours are shown on google saying it closes at 4:00, she started to being nasty towards the young lady Lynn who i have known for a very long time and she didnāt even stick up for herself and let it go. She claimed to be a lawyer which added nothing to the situation, and for an educated lawyer she should know no better herself. Due to the door being open for the remaining customers to be able to leave she tried to use that as a point to badger Lynn. These people have been nothing but amazing and kind through the many years Iāve been a patron, the older gentleman always greets everyone with a sincere hello when you walk in, People should always learn to overlook the little things and get to know one another before they go harassing the hardworking workers that always give a smile even at very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely horrible. First of all, it is completely dirt on the inside. This place needs to be cleaned topped to bottom! Workers were sitting with their bare feet on chairs and walking around barefoot. Disgusting! Every color I picked from the mannequin examples were 10 shades lighter than the actual nail polish, and I was told that the mannequins had āfaded.ā How old is your nail polish if the examples have faded that significantly? Second, I asked for square nails and they are not at all even close to square. The shapes also arenāt even. At the end of my manicure, I was told to wash my hands. I did as I was told, came back to my chair, and my manicurist was nowhere to be found. I waited awhile and saw her hiding in the back. We made eye contact and she walked away and hid some more! No hand massage, no hand cream, NOTHING! I went to go pay and the guy charged me more than what the lady had originally said. I corrected him, so he bumped it down. I put my tip on the table and before I left I saw my manicurist sneakily run to grab the tip and run back to her hiding spot. I also was not happy with the way the paint job turned out which is probably why she was hiding from me. There was nail polish all over the skin surrounding my nails. It looked as if a child had done it. I DO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would not recommend this salon to anyone. I booked an appointment here on 3/19 for 12pm based on their rating. I arrived at 1145am and wasn't seen til almost 1pm. Once I was finally seen, Helen got up twice to take care of someone else. That was annoying. Then when she finally comes to start on me, I quickly noticed that the tools were dirty and not disinfected. I asked her if they clean their tools and she said "umm, no". I told her that she would have to disinfect everything before starting on me. I wanted the UV Gel, she was trying to convince me to do UV acrylic, I declined. She proceeds to cut my already long nails and tries to put tips on me. I stopped her. I don't understand why cut my nails to put on nails?? I've never had that happen. So I told her I wanted the extension done with gel, she says "I'm sorry we don't do that, I should have told you". I was so mad got up to leave. She tells me I can get the set done somewhere else and she'll do the refill, NO Thank you! This place needs to clean and disinfect their tools! She was overall polite and this review isn't solely against her. Sexy Nails needs to revaluate their practices to better serve the community. I don't know how any anyone could allow for a place to touch their hands if they...
