So far, the only nice park in this city where neighbors gather and kids have a blast with this sandpit area and this cute faucet that helps kids build their castles generously without being overwhelmed by these many kids around it :D I love the idea that it's the main hub for all residents here to gather and have their kids play together even if they don't know each other or even try to get to know each other. Kids' world is just miraculous in its simplicity and easy go attitude. Enjoy it and have the courage to go talk to your neighbor, maybe you'll be surprised that you have a neighbor just a couple blocks from you and can be your bestie in a snap ;) (life is so generous once you unfold your arms to its beauty 💖)

Cute park. Love the gated idea especially since the road that it is on is kind of a busy street. I like that it has a bathroom but wish that it was closer to the park and not shared with the school behind it. Overall, fun for all ages because they have a smaller playground and a bigger playground. They even have a sand pit with running water.

I really like this park, has two separate options for kids of different age, also has a lot of shade and the kids can play with water, they love it. There are bathrooms too. Gets busy before noon but there’s always space for you. Parking around the park gets busy too.

Nestled in the heart of natural beauty, Chestnut Hills Park is an enchanting haven that captivates visitors with its serene ambiance and picturesque landscapes. My recent visit to this park was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and I can confidently say that it stands out as one of the most charming parks I've ever had the pleasure of exploring. Here's why Chestnut Hills Park deserves my glowing review:

Tranquil and Scenic Setting: The moment I stepped into Chestnut Hills Park, I was greeted by a sense of tranquility that enveloped me like a warm embrace. The park's lush greenery, mature trees, and well-maintained gardens create a picture-perfect backdrop, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and contemplation.

Abundant Nature Trails: The park offers an extensive network of nature trails that cater to hikers of all levels. Whether you're an avid hiker seeking a challenging trek or a casual walker in search of a leisurely stroll, the trails provide a perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and breathe in the fresh air.

Family-Friendly Amenities: Chestnut Hills Park is a haven for families. The well-maintained playgrounds, open spaces, and picnic areas make it a wonderful spot for families to bond and children to play freely. The park's thoughtful design ensures that everyone, from the young to the young-at-heart, can find something to enjoy.

Wildlife Encounters: As I explored the park, I was delighted to spot various species of birds and small animals. The park's commitment to preserving natural habitats creates a harmonious environment where wildlife can thrive, adding an element of wonder to the overall experience.

Peaceful Water Features: The gentle babbling brooks and serene ponds scattered throughout Chestnut Hills Park add a touch of magic to the setting. These water features not only provide a soothing ambiance but also attract a variety of waterfowl, creating a beautiful harmony between nature and its inhabitants.

Clean and Well-Maintained: I was impressed by the park's cleanliness and meticulous maintenance. The well-kept paths and facilities reflect the park management's dedication to providing a pleasant experience for all visitors.

Ample Seating and Shade: Chestnut Hills Park ensures visitors' comfort by offering plenty of seating areas and shaded spots. Whether you want to have a peaceful moment to yourself or gather with friends and family, there's always a cozy spot waiting for you.

In conclusion, Chestnut Hills Park is a hidden gem that embraces its visitors with open arms and whispers tales of the beauty of the natural world. Excellent shaded playground and tot lot with a small water feature that makes it one of the best spots to play outdoors in the summer. There are two well thought out play areas for different age groups with plenty of space around them for a good game of tag. Lots of tables and benches, but they are a bit old and tend to be dirty. So we always take some napkins or wipes, if we plan to eat while there. But my daughter's favorite thing to do here is to play in the small water fountain that flows into a "river" and then a sand pit/"beach" area. Take your miniature toys, beach toys, water shoes, and towel for a tiny adventure in the sand! Its shaded and the perfect outdoor activity...
