So, a bagel with cream cheese here costs $3.49. If you order that same bagel and cream cheese with lox, it’s $10.99. Pricey, but fine whatever. However the bagel I received had barely a single slice of lox for the $7.50. Picture attached. That’s pretty slim pickings for seven and a half bucks. I went to the front and asked if maybe they went a little light on the lox by accident and was told they have a “one slice of lox” policy and if I wanted more I could buy more. I looked and did not see any indication of this policy on the menu. Also the lady gave me a pretty dirty look, if I do say so. Items I saw others order seemed more reasonable. But if you want lox and cream cheese, or if you are a person of principle, I would strongly advise against the Chesapeake Bagel Bakery.

I love going to this place in the morning! They have so many options for bagels and different kinds of meats and additions you can make it's great! I also like the environment in their it's pretty enjoyable just to eat your bagel in. It's like a place to get a quick bite in the morning. I would say my favorite thing to get is just the egg, cheese, and sausage bagel. It is so good, and everything is fresh. They have a lot of staff sitting and making everything you ask for right Infront of you.

Quick snack, got a bagel with Honey Maple cream cheese, and an avocado breakfast bagel on sundried tomato bagel. Both were good, but a little heavy on the cream cheese (guess that means I got my money's worth). Order placement area is through a narrow path on the left as soon as you enter, next to their refrigerated cases. Will be coming back here in the future to explore their many other options.

I recently visited with a friend, and while the bagels we ordered were fine, our experience was far from it. We had also ordered chai lattes and noticed that the worker was making them hot, even though we had explicitly asked for cold. When we pointed this out, she told us it would be extra for cold lattes, to which we agreed.

Right after that, she asked if we wanted spiced or vanilla flavor. I clearly stated we wanted spiced. However, I overheard the staff talking in Spanish, mentioning that they were charging extra for vanilla even though we had asked for spiced. As we were short on time, we couldn't wait any longer. This overall experience ruined my visit to this place and made me feel very disrespected. My time was truly wasted, and it left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and...

I have been going here for bagels since as longer as I can remember, having grown up in Arlington. I've lived in New York as well as out west so I have tried very many bagels, some amazing and some very much not. These bagels always hit the right spot and the everything bagels have the perfect amount of seasoning! I think they skimp a bit on the cream cheese (in comparison to New York) and prices have gotten a bit high but what hasn't nowadays with inflation? The employees are efficient and always get my order right; even making sure to give me a fresh bagel if a new batch comes out while they're fixing my order. Only thing I miss is their retired parma-peppercorn cream cheese from many years ago which was cheesy, oniony, and...
