Gussie Field Watterworth Park — Attraction in Farmers Branch

Well sized playground suitable for kids of all ages. A cute stream full of ducks (don't let your little ones wander, there is no fence) a big picnic pavilion as well as picnic benches beside the play area. We had a nice picnic. There is a tennis court and basketball court. At noon the nearby church bells chime and play a song. It's also right next to the rose garden, so after our picnic we had a walk around the roses. Beautiful afternoon. This park is one of our favorites. There's also a "little library" there, the kids always like to see what books...

What a wonderful park this is!! The parks department has done a wonderful job keeping up on all of the park maintenance, and they clearly take pride in what they do. All of the landscaping was very well kept and maintained. The playground was clean and in great shape, there was no trash out on the ground, the picnic tables were clean and all of the animals seemed very happy and healthy (park goers obey the no-feeding signs!!) I cannot wait to come back and visit the rose...

Park is always so pretty and clean. We've had countless of picnics, they also have alot of shade and benches. As a big family we've enjoyed bringing our kids here and eating at the gazebo. We've also gone for walks on their trails, and have had ducks follow us, which was the kids favorite part.
