I’ve come here on and off for months with different groups. I’ve played pickleball, eaten here, and even chatted with the owner’s wife, Mia. At first, I thought this place had potential. Now I realize it’s more about surface-level appeal than anything else.
They’ve decorated the space to feel trendy, but it ends up feeling cluttered, blocked and like a hotel lobby. The added games are rarely used and never added much for me.
The service is inconsistent. Some staff from the beginning are kind, but many others are often on their phones, lying in booths, or generally disengaged. New hires seem unsure of what to do and aren’t welcoming. One bartender told me, “It’s just a job, and I get paid.” That summed it up.
The food is okay. Prices are fair, but the menu gets boring fast. I’ll sometimes play a quick indoor game and leave to eat elsewhere.
The outdoor courts are squeezed between businesses, and if a ball rolls out, good luck getting it back without dodging traffic.
Their “social calendar” rarely changes. It’s the same thing month to month. Occasionally outside companies host events, but it often feels like guests are just there to be sold to.
Eventually I realized this isn’t a place designed with regulars in mind. The vibe is off, the effort feels minimal, and most of their responses and posts seem AI generated, which only adds to the sense of disconnect.
You won’t find my name in the system. This is a throwaway account because I’ve seen how staff and ownership handle criticism. I once thought this might be a favorite spot....
Read moreWe had our JPMorgan Holiday party here and it didn’t disappoint! Food was great, especially the wings. Pickleball was a game I’d never played before and even though I really sucked at it, I had such a fun time. My co-workers really worked up a sweat and we shared so many laughs and competitive conversations! There was a guy working there who was a pickleball aficionado (I think his name was Loc) and he taught us all the rules of the game and helped us on court as needed. The rest of the staff was super friendly and very attentive to our group, especially Lex, our server!! Planning this was a breeze; Mia and Kate took great care of us. My favorite part was the replays we received during the game through the app. Mine gave me a good laugh later on. Whether you’re looking for an event or not, and whether you’re an expert at the game or trying it for the first time I 10/10 recommend. Oh, and if you’re an espresso martini girl do yourself a favor and order one here. So yummy and the glass size didn’t disappoint! Lastly, I picked up a sweatshirt from the merch shop on the way out and it’s great quality, super cozy!...
Read moreBEWARE! We(party of 5) walked in Saturday around 5pm. Hostess tells us there will be a wait of about 20 minutes. Luckily, we knew some people already there, so we sat with them. We walk in, there are PLENTY of open tables! The place wasn't crowded at all. Why would there have been a wait??
We order our drinks and food. It finally comes out after like 25 minutes. I'm eating my wings and I find something PLASTIC(like seran wrap and length of a finger) in the bottom of the blue cheese!! We ask for the manager. One of the servers(not ours) wants to know what the problem is instead of getting the manager. She apologizes and says the wings will be taken off the bill. I ask what is it...she says it looks like receipt paper. I start to gag.
We're leaving and I'm trying to pay the bill. Our server gives me someone's else bill with ours. She's saying she didn't know who ordered what and such. Granted, we were there with the basketball team, so it was about 15 of us total. How do you not know who ordered what? Very unorganized. Maybe she was a new server or something.
