I used to love this place but apparently they changed management and this new management makes me not want to come here anymore. They wont ask you whether you want to open a tab and they will leave a tab open and if you leave they will not close your tab they wont ask you if you want to close your tab when they charge or ask for a receipt and they will send a pending charge to your bank for $50 and then blame you for not chasing them down to close your tab. And I assume this is a regular problem because their phone volume was down so no one could hear calls to the location. The manager didnt care about the fact that I had to drive almost an hour to come visit the place because I used to like this place and used to be a regular so I specifically came to visit this place and I had to drive another hour just to talk to management about this open tab and get a receipt verification. He was basically like thats my problem I should have closed out my tab like its my job to ring myself up properly. You get 1 star for bad customer service. The hostess even said that she doesnt know why they do the charge since it doesnt charge you. I would have given 4 stars if the manager seemed like he cared that I drove across the dfw metroplex to come to their location to support them as a business the first time and had to drive another 45+ mins to get clarification for this charge since they dont want to answer their phone. And since he basically was like screw me for not hunting them down and closing out my tab then I am giving a 1 star. I only give 1 stars for bad customer service and you just lost a regular for bad customer service. I dont have to hunt down servers to close my tab at other places so idk why it makes sense that anyone is supposed to do that their. A bar always ask do you want to open a tab or close your tab and I was never asked and that should not be an open invitation to just open a tab automatically. And if its to hard to manage then how about just dont have open tabs and charge for every order and close with a receipt. The convenience of an open tab should be for the paying customer that is keeping you in business. I dont know when it became an autonomous inconvenience of the customer to have to close a tab after never being asked to open or close a tab in the first place which I never even wanted to do. Not a fan...
Read moreWent on a Wednesday for the R&B mashup. The do not have food, but allow you to have food delivered! I recently made a switch from drinking Whiskey to Tequila, so I am trying to read labels from the bar and kind of asking the bartender what's what regarding the tequila selection. He immediately got annoyed after my 2nd question (repo or anejo?) and said "what are you wanting, bc i can make it quick, i just need to know". I thought he was asking about my tequila preference - bc i had just told him, im a novice tequila drinker and unsure about what i want. So when i start speaking about different notes within tequila (pepper, chocolate, caramel etc). He's like "no, what drink do you want...whatever you tell me, i can make it quick". As if i was some kid who couldn't decide what candy I wanted. So I was rushed to make a decision without knowing all of my options. And to be clear, it wasn't busy so its not like i was keeping him from taking other orders. Even then, if a patron is undecided, the courteous thing to say is "ill let you think about it some more OR let me ask someone else bc im not well-versed in tequila". Either wouldve been acceptable. But flat out asking "what do you want" is rude as hell. My date says "are yall okay" I was like yeah, i guess i just got on his nerves by asking questions about the selections. He, the bartender, didn't smile one time during our conversations, which is also a problem for me when your job is customer-facing. Have some sort of personality god's sakes. My date left bc he was so put off by his demeanor, lack of attn we received from the bar, plus my little interaction about the tequila options. I stayed a while afterwards to finish my drink, I decided to order a 2nd one and check out the DJ, which is actually why i picked the place - IG Marketing about "real R&B". This review for the DJ specifically...when the establishment is listed as a LOUNGE, you should have lounge decibels, not CLUB decibels. Having to YELL in a LOUNGE is exhausting...those are club vibes in my opinion. People are coming to vibe and unwind. Not be over-stimulated with loud ass music and yelling, save that for the night clubs and...
Read moreMy sister and I visited a wine tasting event and arrived thirty minutes early, only to find it already full. If possible, I recommend arriving an hour early to avoid such a situation. We were seated in two chairs near the door, which included a tiny accent table.
Although I’ve attended many wine tastings and events, I’ll keep this review brief since I believe the venue is relatively new and may be working out some kinks. However, we both left feeling quite disappointed with the service. The presenter was difficult to hear, and it was evident that the venue wasn’t adequately accommodating all guests. It’s crucial to ensure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable during an event. I choose to believe this was not intentional.
Lastly, we wanted to purchase bottles of wine, but a server never came by to take our order. Additionally, I was interested in trying the charcuterie board, but there was no designated area to place food and drinks to...
