Señor Oink — Restaurant in Farmers Branch

Stopped in this place on our way home from the train station. Our vehicle had broken down & we went to visit the mechanic’s shop. My husband, a chef by trade w/an Associate’s of Applied Science, is currently looking for work. In honesty, I would’ve thought this spot far beneath him. Recently, however, we’ve learned to be more humble. That being the case, he entered and asked if they were hiring. The guy behind the counter called to the, “cook,” in the kitchen. The cook appeared through the wall window, looked my husband up and down and said with a stone face, “No.” My husband, a man of growing faith, then asked if we might have a cup of water, (we had a water bottle with ice). The guy behind the counter smirked and said, “We only have sink water,” which left me wondering-how many unknowing patriots are drinking sink water, when attending this establishment. I went to this place because of their Instagram reviews and influencer post. But it was so disappointing, the service and atmosphere it’s amazing. But the food was overrated or the time and day I went they were not feeling it.

Food didn’t had flavor, the portion was so poor, and the taco was just fat no meat, the meat with skin it was just fat, no skin and saggy, not crunchy at all, guacamole with no flavor in it, the drinks was amazing but I’ll show you on the pictures what I got for $75.00…..
