Refer tx # 122089 pl. Plus point: A fairly well stocked store with a good range of items/produce. All these get washed out with the Very Sorry Customer Service Experience we get here. Examples: Price tags mis-match ie where the price tags are there ,the items are kept at another place or simply the Items are NOT there at all. Especially true with rice. This leads us to go around to those who are working the aisles, where while the lesser looking guy is happy to be helpful, the other one has a stern & forbidding demeanor. Waste of time for the Customer. There are 4 Cash Registers.however we found only 1 working ( this was a Sunday too- though there only around 15 customers) , with another 1 having a signage"Tape not running, pl Co-operate" ; the girl there was just standing there & often disappearing holding off a line that never was served. The illogical part was ; the other 2 Registers in workable condition were NOT put to use too !. There ofcourse were a couple of girls available but were NOT providing the customers the Check Out Service. Ofcourse the ill trained associates were wearing a pleasant & cordial appearance unlike the "Didi "to whom these girls rush to; even for every minor issue or price consultation mostly with disappointing response. After waiting in the line for 20 mts with no customer being served ,I approached the "Didi" about the plight of the ill served Customers even while 2 Registers remained unmanned, she called me loudly back ; saying in an aggrieved tone" uncle, we are OUT of paper" ,as though her ego is more important than good customer service. Are the customers supposed to come shopping with Papers(sic) for the Cash Registers !!! It will be good for the owner to realise that; Reviews are written because the Customers genuinely care for their shopping experience and for the Store to Do Better, as afterall we had travelled 50 mts from Auburn Hills to shop here & spent around 100$s. While we picked up our stuff in 25 minutes , we were waiting in an unresponsive Cash Registry area for more than 30 mts. What an awful experience. Just to please ; can't write a review covering up your basic fault lines, and unless you take these critical reviews with a positive mindset noting the areas of improvement instead of playing the game of "who is better; me or the Customer"- I have read your disappointing responses to Reviews hence this comment , you will only get progressively lesser foot prints , more so when you have started hiking up your prices to align with that of the nearby once successful but now waning Vani Foods. Read moreHorrible customer service. Purchased cookies for this store two weeks back and were all defective, purchased packaged cookies last week and were defective yet again. I complained at the store for a bad item purchase, carried the defective item with me along with the receipt and the cashier directs me to speak to another guy. I tell my concern to the another staff member and he isnt ready to accept any complaint. He says he no one else has complained! I told but I am raising this complaint and he again says if there was a defect he should have received at least two more complaints. That is ridiculous, does it mean I am lying?! I tried proving him I have no interest in especially driving to the store with a false complaint! I ask him if they offer any replacements for a bad product and he said this is the way the product and I do not know how it tastes! I have been having these cookies for past few decades. really?! Such a harassing statement. He said they are no replacements! He said he will check with manufacturer later. I asked him he can trash the cookies I got for replacements, he said there is a trash can outside the store and I can trash it there myself.. I have never been treated as badly! For a few dollars, this is the way they treat their customers. Its horrible staff members and store owners who take no responsibility in their products and care least what the customer feels. Just a money-minded business. Never going there again and would recommend others to COMPLETELY STAY AWAY from this store. There are many Indian stores nearby and not takes troubles dealing with such stores with such bad customer service. Read moreI got GRB ghee on 7th Dec and used it the very next day and the ghee texture was not appetizing. I later checked the date and it said "Best Before Apr 2019*. We reached the store the very same weekend and checked the other ghee bottels . All of it had the expire date as Apr 2019. When we took them all together to the check out counter, all we heard from them was "we will check" and the check out lady was all cool continuing her work. We later reached manager and he was like "we were just gonna remove them all" Lol. It took them 1 full week to remove them all.
We go to this place thinking they have good product, we were totally disappointed by them. They offered to return the $3 for the ghee,all we asked is to clean the expired products and have a regular check.
I suggest people who shop here to check the expire date and then get them.

Again and Again !! This is the second time I am experiencing this with India Grocers. Expired Product . I purchased Saffron on Jan 6th 2021 and guess what the product says "PACKING 2017 BEST BEFORE END 2020". do you guys even check on your products ?
