We were in the NRG for Veterans Day weekend and after our first night camping, our tent pole string came out of the poles. We stopped at one gear store and they told us to buy a whole new tent so we stopped in here at Ace Adventure Gear and that’s where we met Seth. Seth was absolutely AMAZING. he went way out of his way and took the extra time and effort to help us fix the strings and get the tent poles back to working order. He was SO nice and helpful and he definitely saved us from having to cut our trip short (or drive all the way to an REI) We also looked around the store while we were in there and they have such a huge selection of Rumpls and everything else you could possible need! 9/15/24 - On my way home from a phenomenal trip on both Upper & Lower Gauley's. Our raft guide Andy, & wife Irene were the best. They recommended this place for most outfitting, tourist & repair/replace supplies.

Prices were a bit over Walmart or Amazon.com's, but they had name brands... only if they were in stock. I found some empty shelves, but they had my Teva style & size in the back. I was both surprised & not that near all the stickers were sold out!

Store was decently organized, very clean, and the staff were super helpful. There's a bench near the footwear that shows that this place has been open for a while. I hope they...
