UMMM... THEY ALMOST KILLED ME, I HAD TO GO TO THE ER, AND NOW THEY WONT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS. READ ON.
I stopped in, sat down ordered A beer. Ask the waitress about the fish tacos. There was a sauce on it that was not typical so I asked if if it had not sent it since I'm deathly allergic to nuts she said no but then she said she wasn't sure so she was going to ask the cook. She went annd asked and came back and said no. the food came and two bites in i realize that yes, there certainly ARE peanuts in the hidden ingredients of their fish tacos, and started having a reaction. epipen didn't diminish the attack at all, and pretty soon i could barely breathe. we were waiting for an ambulance but it was getting so bad so fast, I was sure I was gonna be dead before an ambulance could come to get me and Back to the hospital. We raced there, checked in, they went to work on me And obviously now I'm fine. But I called and said this happened to me, could you please at least pay the medical bill? The person answering said she thinks so, and she would talk to her boss. And that they would call me back. They never did. I've been calling ever since and they never returned my calls that was October 13, 2023. The total bill, not counting the ambulance ride that I would've had if I could've waited with $3426.49. Luckily, there was an adjustment to the bill (Not sure why) and I'm grateful for that but but now I'm stuck with a $1610.45 bill.
Ethically, i think that totally sucks. they were 100% in the wrong and they could've killed me or someone else with their carelessness, and they're too cheap to even pay the medical bill. and they won't even call me back....
Read moreAte here a year ago while on vacation and couldn't wait to return! Visited this time on "wing night." It was difficult to get service if not sitting at the bar. Stood in line...sort of chaotic for no busier than they were. Ordered wings...given all flappers. The "basket of fries" is the size of an average side for $8. Coors Light bottles were $6 which seems shocking even when comparing to city prices we usually pay. Stood waiting for drinks when there wasn't even a line and food was delivered while we were waiting in line for a second round. No plates or drinks were ever cleared. Get your own everything dinner with the wing special (6 flappers for $9) a (basket of fries the size of a side $8) had 3 Coors Lights because she said they were "out" so had 1 bud light in a can and 2 bourbons for a grand total of $89. Had to stand at the bar for 10 minutes simply waiting to be cashed out when we were the only table in the place though bar was full. Bartender was just shooting the breeze with regulars. It was kind of an exhausting experience and not what we expected. You basically wait on yourself and pay high prices for mediocre food and a complete lack of service....
Read moreI can’t comment on the food or drinks. Because we didn’t get the opportunity to try them. We saw the bar advertised on facebook. It was all decorated for Christmas and had a special Christmas cocktail menu. So four of us got ourselves all decorated for Christmas. You know, sweaters, Santa hats, jingle bells and possibly some lights in the men’s beards. It took us about an hour and 45 minutes to get there. We walked into the bar and it wasn’t packed by any means. Many of the tables for four or more only had one or two people. There was not a completely empty table. The bar seating was sporadic but no place for four people. There was music but not Christmas music and people looked at us like we were aliens. We stood by the bar for ten minutes before a bartender finally stepped over and looked at us. I told her I guessed we were leaving because there wasn’t seating for four. She said yeah, it was hard to say when seating would open up. But we could pull stools from the tables that weren’t being used and sit near the end of the bar and wait. Yeah, we choose to leave. I’ll have to have one of those mistletoe margaritas...
