Please beware. If you value your money you will not come to this establishment. This evening myself and eight other people came here to celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding and ending a fun filled day with the grooms party. We came this evening to enjoy bowling, skating and playing games in the arcade area. I walked in to purchase our tickets for the evening and was told I would purchase our skating tickets at the door and our bowling and arcade passes inside. Standing at the counter I was helped by a “nice lady”, I had my rollerblades over my shoulder. As I approached the “nice lady” said, “I guess you’re here to skate?” I replied with yes ma’am we are. I purchased my ticket as well as my wife’s. We then walked inside and I purchased $40.00 worth of arcade credits and we played games until the bowling lanes became available.(I was carrying skates over my shoulder walking from game to game.) After purchasing passes for nine individuals for bowling and shoes, we played for an hour and then wanted to finish the night skating. I put on my skates (rollerblades) and my wife put her rental skates on, we made it around two laps before I was stopped and told, “we don’t allow roller blades.” I replied stating that no one said that to me when I purchased my skating pass at the front door three hours ago. He then stated I could go see the owner who was right over there. I spoke to the owner and expressed that it was a very poor practice to allow someone to purchase a skate pass 3 hours ago and only to then tell them that they can’t use their skates they brought. I mentioned the “nice lady” up front didn’t say anything about it when I came in either. I said that if I won’t be allowed to skate I would like my money back as well as my wife’s. The owner didn’t contest and then the “nice lady approached from the front. She stated that she wanted to only refund my skate purchase and not my wife’s because she skated.(for 4 minutes). I then contested and stated that she wasn’t going to skate without me and insisted they should refund both of our skate pass purchases. The owner agreed yet the “nice lady” still contested. I went a step further and asked for the remaining credit on our arcade cards to be refunded as well due to we will not be returning to this establishment. Again, the owner didn’t contest, but the “nice lady” continued with more contentment and reluctance to do anything. I then asked the clarifying question, “who is the owner? I am confused.” Come to find out, the “nice lady” is the co-owner. She is also the one who I purchased my skate pass from as I stated in the beginning. When at the counter to process the refund I was met with more attitude from the “nice lady”. Which I decided to just leave at the point. I am not going to force someone to refund money to help restore a customer experience that they failed. The “nice lady” never apologized for her mistake and didn’t seem to care about me as a customer. I didn’t ask for a refund because $16.00 is going to break the bank. I also didn’t insist they give me a full refund our arcade purchase when a majority of our purchases at the arcade were taken by machines that were not working. (MLB Strikezone game, Lakers Warriors Basketball game, all the balls are on top of the game cages or behind other gaming machines.) To lead customers in with the impression of a quality level of service only to be met with excuses and undisclosed conditions and keep someone’s money for products or services they were not able to use is not a wholesome practice. That is was crooks do. Please don’t have your money taken by undisclosed terms or the excuse of being a...
Read moreThere is one star because I have to leave a rating to write this review. I took my 2 sons for my oldest son's birthday on Saturday. We also invited some friends and family. We brought his cake to have some while there to accompany the pizza and wings we would purchase while there. We did this exact same thing a month ago for my youngest son's birthday with no problem. This time the 2 young girls at the front desk proceed to tell us we can't bring any outside food in if we don't rent a party room. Again, it is just a cake!!! I explain that we just did this a month ago and nothing was said. They get a manager. This rude woman rushes up to me immediately defensive and unpleasant saying we can't bring in the cake due to health regulations if we don't rent a party room. I ask her how much they are. She tells me to ask the girls at the desk. I get prices but refuse to pay $35 for 30 minutes when all of my people are showing up at different times. I take my cake to the car and allow my kids to play some arcade games. Mind you, I spent $200 on arcade games for my kids. A while later, I notice 2 other families with cakes in the food area. I bring my cake back in and one of the girls at the front tells security or whoever the guy was. He comes over and tells me that they have already told me that I can't have outside food if not renting a party room. I point out the 2 other families with cakes on their tables as well. He states he is about to address them as well. He goes to tell the other families, one black and one white. The white family has their cake open and cutting and eating out of it. I return my cake to the car but notice that neither of the other families has taken theirs out. I go and ask for a manager. The same security guy comes out. I ask for upper management or corporate office's number. He states that he is the highest manager there which I know is a lie. Suddenly a female appears stating she is the manager over him and that she is the highest that management goes. I tell her that everyone has a supervisor so I know she is not the highest available. She was rude and proceeds to attempt to be funny but actually very insulting and inappropriate by saying Jesus is over her. After I got angry and offended by that, she states that I can call during the week but am going to get the same result. I know that what happened was race based because they clearly the white family eat their OUTSIDE food with no problem until I said something. I won't be going here again which is sad because my kids...

I visited spinners today because after searching all day for a place to bowl spinners was the only place that didn’t have a horrific wait time.
However, we shouldn’t have ever come here.
After waiting for 20 minutes, which isn’t what I’m complaining about because that isn’t bad, we finally got our shoes and got a lane to bowl in. After bowling for our first game I noticed something strange going on with our lane - the pins were not being picked up properly after throwing out the first ball. You would throw the first ball, it would hit the pins but when it would go to reset it would not pick up all the pins how it was supposed to so we would either get less pins then we were supposed to or no pins at all. With 15 minutes left on our time (which is an entire game by the way) I went up to the shoe clerk and told her about the issue with the lane and asked could I be refunded because we were unhappy with how it played. She said she couldn’t do it herself but she could get a manager to talk to me which I agreed to.
A manager comes over and within minutes starts having an attitude with me about why I didn’t tell them sooner and how it’s not their fault if they didn’t know. I tell her that I’m now explaining the problem so it can be corrected to prevent anyone else from having this issue and that all I want is our $39.00 back so we can use for another day of bowling when I have more time or use it on the arcade machines. She then informs me that they have a no refund policy. I didn’t know about this policy before we played and she acted like it’s something I should have already known. That’s when the general manager came over.
I try explaining my frustration to both of them about the situation and they had literally no empathy at all. They had attitudes, were mean, and didn’t even care to understand my side of the situation.
At the end of the conversation the general manager says these exact words to me “I’m done with this conversation” and walks off. What kind of customer service is that? Even if they weren’t able to provide me with a refund I would have taken a pass for another hour of bowling on a different day when I had more time or credit for the arcade machines but they weren’t willing to work with me which is why I am writing this review. I am not the first person to have issue with this establishments customer service and I know for a fact I won’t...
