We booked my son’s birthday party here. We got the bronze package for $250. It includes 1 game and $100 for arcade split between 8. I first want to say the venue is very nice and clean and the laser tag itself is very cool. We got there at 10:45 to set up for the 11am party. We were directed into the ice cream area to set up. I was then told upon arrival that we wouldn’t be starting laser tag until 12, even though we were the only party there. This was somewhat of a frustration as I was learning this as we arrived. The booking was only from 11-12:30. I would have very much appreciated to be told this prior. You have to order your own food since they do not provide that and most lunch places open at 11am. So I would have preferred to start laser tag right away. Then eat have cake and finish with kids playing arcade games. My husband and I were also told that since nobody was booked after us we could have the room until 3pm and that other players can join in ( that was very nice since some of the parents wanted to participate with the kids). However the game only lasted a short 20 min and kids really wanted to go again. My husband and I both thought it was no problem since they said we could have the room until 3pm. Apparently that only meant the ice cream room. I can understand he may have meant something else but my husband and I both heard it clearly. For the price every party should have at least two games. You should also be able to start when you arrive or communicate that prior. The staff was very nice but also very young and had a hard time communicating. Overall the kids had fun but as parent it was somewhat disappointing. They would get a lot more business and parties booked there if they made it that way. Also the photos on their website make it look as if they set up tablecloths etc but that is completely on the parents, which is also...
Read moreWell, I tried to call and get information for a birthday party for a week straight. No answer back. Tried to book online and their system was constantly down. Finally made an attempt to personally drive there and ask for information and the manager told me, word for word, I'd be wasting my time if I came. That it might be crowded.. might not... but if it was either way I'd be wasting my time and it wouldn't be fun. Understandably I get it was last minute request because I could not get through to them, but even when I asked if I shouldn't come all together, she said she couldn't tell me not to but kept saying I'd probably be wasting my time if I did. So I flat out about asked her if I shouldn't come all together and she just reiterated it might be so crowded and I wouldn't have fun and she didn't want me to waste my money just in case it was. So I said, ok and thank you and today were going to Fat Daddys arcade which was very accommodating. Other than that, the place was way smaller inside than expected, but overall looked nice. So, fair warning, you might night get the nicest treatment or better yet, good luck at getting...
Read moreSuch a great place! Thrills is a newer addition to Destin and it is a great,family-friendly place to be. It isn’t a huge place, but it’s perfect for families with little ones. The Laser Tag aspect is awesome! My oldest step-son would live there if we let him. And the prices are great! A round of Laser Tag is $10 and game cards start at $10. You would be surprised how long $10 can last,if you pay attention to what you are playing. As a local,I definitely recommend. I just hope when Spring Break hits in about a month and half, that it remains...
