Fontana deserves better than this.
The current city council has shown time and time again that they are more interested in preserving their image than serving the people they were elected to represent. I’ve attended meetings, emailed councilmembers, and witnessed how public concerns are consistently brushed off or ignored entirely — unless, of course, it benefits someone politically.
We need new leadership — people who want to understand and uplift their constituents, not belittle or silence them. Watching Councilmember Cothran disrespect our senior council leadership in public forums is beyond disappointing — it’s dangerous. His entitled behavior reflects a deeper problem: nepotism and favoritism over qualification and public service. Fontana isn’t a dynasty — it’s a city full of hardworking families who deserve respect and responsive leadership.
And Mayor Warren? Embarrassing at best. Her dismissive attitude, lack of engagement, and obsession with celebrity name-drops and photo ops make it clear that she’s more concerned with public perception than public progress. At one meeting, she proudly shared how she’s stopped at Costco by fans — as though that’s proof of good governance. Meanwhile, real issues go unaddressed.
This council doesn’t listen. They deflect, distract, and congratulate themselves for doing the bare minimum. If we want a Fontana that works for everyone — not just the well-connected — we need to clean house. The city is watching. The residents are waking up. And...
