My dad was interested in purchasing a ez up canopy that was on display and was told they didn’t have any in stock but if he wanted the display “he could take it down himself cause I’m not doing it”. My dad is disabled so he waited till later when I could help him. A couple hours later we walk in and we’re greeted with “we’re closing in 15 minutes so you’re gonna have to hurry and get what you need”, very hateful by the cashier. We explain what he was told about the canopy and they were all very rude, telling us not to touch until the assistant manager Amanda came up. We waited on Amanda for awhile, after she decided to come out she came up being very rude and short with my dad, so I stepped in and asked her name and position, then she starts to get loud with me and berated me in front of the customers. I asked my dad to go because this was horrible customer service and she decided to tell me off. This was an absolutely horrible experience with Ollie’s and is unacceptable. The assistant manager Amanda does not need a job in retail or customer service, let alone being a manager to...
Read moreFor all the truckers! This place is a very challenging for a sleeper to back into with a sleeper. You have to maneuver around a corner blindside and if they already have a trailer in the door it’s close to impossible. I pulled my bumper off doing so. On the other hand the manager in charge of the unload was the most unprofessional Ollie’s associate I’ve dealt wiith ever. She was only interested in giving me her resume of 15 yrs as a manager leaving me perplexed as to how she deals with customers on a daily. And of course the reasoning of everybody else doesnt have a problem backing in. See the picture below and tell me if that is from weather erosion lol! Very unprofessional and unprepared. While I don’t want anyone to lose a job but a demotion or some kind of disciplinary action is needed and would be applauded. To think this lady deals with the paying public in this manner is a bad look for the...
Read moreThis was the first time coming to this location. I had never heard of this store before. Me and my Mom had a mini vacation in Forest City and decided to stop in and walk around. I was amazed at how many cookbooks there were. Anything you can think of. Great prices too. I had to get Bobby Deens cookbook it was only a couple of dollars so why not My Mom found some great deals on some food items as well as hair color and a few other items. Of course I probably would have bought more but I had to fly home and was limited to space. Over all there were a lot of good deals. I spent a lot of my time just looking at the cookbooks and what they had to offer. Good store worth checking out to see what they have. They also have some club you can sign up for. I didn't get the details since I didn't live near one. They do have these in other areas now. So I would sign up for sure next time. I will go back for sure!...
