This place is well known here for it's "food" & "service", it's been some ten years or more since my wife, and I have eaten there and, I hate to say this but, All out, the food has basically gotten worse. My eggs which were to be "Scrambled Eggs" were, I guess the part of "Scrambled" was that were beaten in a bowl, that part was right I'll say but, when eggs are cooked and the order is scrambled, not simply poured out on the flattop grill and left to over cook and then for the "Scrambled" part of this cooking process of the eggs were that the eggs basically "chopped/diced", what ever that Lil feller whom was cooking at this point then flipped the eggs a time or two then scooped them up on his do it all spatula and then placed them on my plate, and then my wife's eggs she ask for "over easy" the poor little waitress sorta of had a confused look on her face and then, she asked my wife "Ma'am, what does over easy mean?", well my wife asked this little lady "How long have you worked as a waitress?", she replied "I have worked here for almost two years now", my wife said well honey that's where you take the egg and you will crack the egg open over the griddle and then the young girl said "Oh, you want a "Fried-Egg", yes my wife said, but over easy though. Well, her two eggs came to her "Fried" alright, the only thing about her two eggs were the fact there were two "Whitesh" looking things, she sat our plates down, not sure who saw the problems first, but my wife pointed out that her eggs were severely over cooked and our waitress stated "This is how our cook fries all his eggs", and my wife took her fork and cut one of her eggs and said to our waitress ma'am this egg is, and our waitress whom interrupted my wife said "Ma'am, that's how he cooks all his fried eggs, my wife said, "Well before I was interrupted, I was going to tell you these are very well done, not what I ordered, I don't care if its how your cook cooks his eggs, I ordered over easy, not fried hard. the bacon I guess was in a heaped up pile along with the sausage, all of which was very oily/grease dripping from it on my plate and my wife's as well. After the grease the well done eggs, my thought was we'll just pay for our drinks and just leave, but when I mentioned it to my wife, she said no because our waitress even though our order was totally wrong, she walked off to the cook sorta hollering at her to "get this order", so she walked off. People I could go on here but, no need. If you still go there I guess then more power to ya. But I do care what my ordered food looks like and taste like. But, this was the last time time for my wife and I. Just guess its a place where the only few locals will go, but I will never go there again. Poor service/bad food prep to plate...SORRY...
Read moreThe worst customer service I have ever experienced. Yesterday, a woman with short, black hair was impolite about cleaning the table me and my sister were sitting at. She had a bad attitude about getting us our drinks and the drinks even had black particles in the water, which she had a problem with switching them. Another is when my sister and friend's food came out, it was the wrong order. When asking her to fix it (which my sister just came from the hospital and she was a bit aggravated already) she started an argument about how my sister was getting smart and how she was not going to be spoken to a certain way, when my sister was just in pain and wanting her food. The woman's customer service instinct should have been to ask what she would like again, so she could fix it, but she wanted to make a scene and start an argument that could have been prevented. I don't know if it was because there was only two people that were working at the time, that she was aggravated, but her service was very appalling and ill-mannered. She even told other people that came in a few minutes after us and said "There's another Waffle House 5 feet away.” I don't know what kind of training she's been through, but it was not good customer service. I don't think she's ever heard of "the customer is always right" (even if there are not) and she needs to be trained better on her workplace ethics because it was like she did not know the ethics of customer service at all. It is waffle house and there should be a standard to the service that we have...
Read moreWoke up Late this morning and decided we wanted breakfast food which included waffles so we obviously the only choice around here for breakfast after 10 o’clock is Waffle house Denny’s or Bojangles, but we really didn’t want fast food and we just had Denny’s not long ago so we decided on Waffle House. Obviously when you try to call and place your order they never answer and say that they aren’t taking phone orders so I drove 20 minutes there and Went in to place an order and they weren’t even that busy because they had several empty tables and the parking lot wasn’t even full like it was last time we ordered. We just ordered maybe three weeks ago and the parking lot was packed and there was a line out the door and they still had our order for five people done in about 15 minutes. This time when I walk in and see that it’s not that busy I’m thinking oh good it’s not as busy as last time. Wrong I was informed by the girl that helped me last time that they are accepting to go orders right now. I mean can you guys not maintain your own restaurant???? How pathetic that it wasn’t even for when you can’t even do to go orders but that’s OK because I will not be back to your location. It’s no wonder that you only have a 3.8 out of a possible 5 for Google writing it should probably be about a 2!!!! You need to step back and review your management and staff and get it...
