Pinot's Palette — Attraction in Fort Collins

We have been to Pinots palette many times over the years and have always had a wonderful experience. Great environment, supplies, and artist teachers. Today we did a more complex picture of an ocean/beach that definitely requires a lot of direction especially to non artists. Although our instructor Kat was very pleasant and very clearly good at art, we felt like the instruction that went along wasn’t the strongest. This was a more complex multi step picture with three different phases. Sometimes i was following instructions without understanding what my end goal was in a certain part. The people around us felt a similar frustration. Sometimes directions were simplified down to “paint clouds” and most people felt a bit lost. I have really loved in the past when instructors would come around to help people individually too which didn’t happen. I love the openness of creativity of your painting not needing to look like the teachers, but most people who take these classes want that specific instruction to achieve that picture. I heard her mention that she was one of the newer instructors and I think she had a lot of talent and great potential!! I think everyone deserves productive feedback. We will always be back because we love this...

We had a date night over a week ago and bought for the Westminster location we showed up and it was completely empty their website is still active and the fort Collins location refuses to give us a refund apparently our reservations go to the ft Collins and not Westminster they do not specify that or that the Westminster location is shut down the lady at the ft Collins location was very very rude to us on the phone saying she was not going to refund us and dispute it from our bank first so we could not see our money back they should take down the Westminster website if they are no longer open and not let people buy through it. Will never be coming here or recommend to anyone the way the lady treated us on the phone. We declined the offer to go to that location simply because we are over an hr away the Westminster website should have been taken down or state that it's permanently closed if it's been shut down for over a year...and this company should refund it's customers instead of arguing and...

I’ve attended a live session here (Westminster) before the pandemic and had a wonderful time painting, sipping wine and being with friends. My good friend lost her husband unexpectedly a week before Mother’s Day. I wanted to treat her and her two young daughters to the virtual class for Mother’s Day. However, I didn’t want to overwhelm my friend with the pressure to do the class so I checked with her first. While waiting for her response which of course was yes, the virtual class sold out. I was horrified. I wrote to Pinot’s Palette to notify them of my conundrum. The Fort Collins location was the email address provided. They responded promptly with the code to the class at no charge!!! My friend was over joyed to have this painting opportunity with her daughters. I can’t wait to see...
