AMC Birchwood 10 — Attraction in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

My husband and I have visited this AMC a few times since moving to Michigan! As avid movie goers, we find this theater to be wonderful. The theaters are clean and comfortable. Price wise it is often cheaper then others. Picture and sound is also perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

Today was the first time we have ever had an issue at this theater. We came in to see Jurassic World Rebirth on release day. Unfortunately, we left half way through the film. The couple next to us talked through all of the previews and made commentary throughout the movie. Our frustration was palpable. I made the decision cut this date night short and leave.

On the way out I decided to inform the staff at the concessions. Hannah was quick to respond to the issue and immediately asked for the details of the situation. Her customer service skills are impeccable. She made a bad experience at the theater into a good one! We really appreciate her taking the time to listen to us and remedy the situation.

AMC Birchwood 10 (located at Birchwood Mall in Fort Gratiot, MI) is my favorite place to go to for new movies. From every aspect of the experience, from the outside posters that promote what's currently playing, the inside where the concession stands are, the bathrooms, as well as the area where the screens are themselves are all so very clean. I went from not going to the movies at all, to looking forward to each visit to this great location. Everything just feels fresh and revived ever since they put in reclining chairs, custom drink machines (that seem to have endless combinations) to the more vibrant theatre screens that pop with more detail. The sound is top notch as well. Even when you recline in the chairs fully, you do not hit anybody behind you, or block anybody that may want to go in front of you to get in/out of a seat. I haven’t been to these theaters since I was little and I understand why now, you are better off sneaking your own food into the theater if you want to eat. Tonight after standing at the counter watching the employees ignore me, passing me several of times with no other customers around to help, I got the hint and just left to go back to the movie. (I’m not the type of person to yell or be rude to employees so id rather just walk away) I don’t know if these employees aren’t being treated right or just need more consistency from authority to make sure guests are getting a good experience but instead of making nicer seats, you should’ve invested in your employees.
